I think any kind of master's degree on there is somewhat silly. If the degree doesn't change the salutation, then it isn't really necessary.

The thing I typically see are the black lawyers who refer to themselves as "Attorney Johnson" and whatnot. Seems to be even more rampant in St. Landry Parish.

It’s bad and douchey, but the letter salads the safety, quality and HR people put behind their names are worse.
