Sure but they're not going to call back with that removed.

At least make a low ball offer first to give them something to chew on.

I mean;
I personally don’t care what they call it:
Is the total amount invoiced at or below what you are willing to pay?
If so, buy it, if not walk.

Tell them to total is about 1,895 more than the total you’re willing to pay. Don’t even bring up that line.

I’d tell them to place it where the sun doesn’t shine. It’s bullshite they think they can charge you for making their car sellable.

The salesman probably keeps half and the dealer probably keeps the other half. It's utter bullshite, just like charging you for nitrogen in the tires, etc. Straight markup by the dealer.

Walk. Let the next stealership know you're not paying for any addons, or you're gone. "Well, we already did xyz to the car, we need to recoup our expenses," you walk.

That's what I did.
He offered split in half, I declined.
He offered 75/25 split, I told him I'll consider it and let him know.
I'm currently negotiating with a different dealership on another vehicle.

Richard’s Honda did sketchy shite like this.

Dealerships will bait and switch the car you test drove and want, if you’re not careful.

Your post was too long for me to read. But just taking a look at the title, it sounds like you got screwed.

Walk away to negotiate it to zero. I had it in a vehicle I purchased recently and it involves stuff like ceramic coat, nitrogen, rain X by on windshield plus serial numbers on different parts like headlights and fenders in case you ever have stolen parts. It’s all a scam. On the car I bought I had matte paint so ceramic coat can’t even be done. I was able to get them to take the whole package off. If they don’t remove it walk away and find a dealership that is honest.

I absolutely despise it when consumers feel they have a right to a vehicle’s car fax sheet. That info was never meant to be public knowledge. We should at least be able to redact or alter it before turning it over. It affects sales too much. For example if a vehicle has 750,000 miles on it. We can erase one zero to make it 75,000 miles which greatly improves its sales value.
yeah found the dumbass car salesman. Yeah lord forbid a consumer get to see the newly shined car you have on your lot has been in 7 wrecks I mean they have so much time to go and look the vehicle over since there’s zero pressure or anything to go inside as fast as possible to talk.

Yeah whatever. People have to make a living and support their families. God forbid we are doing what’s necessary to survive. You have your beliefs and I have mine. You cannot judge me. Whatever enjoy your downvote.

I have zero problem with what someone does for a living. Anyone who gets up in the morning and goes to work is a productive member of society.

My comment was regarding you being a completely entitled dick that thinks one party should be able to have research in a negotiation that the other side doesn’t have access to. That’s not something that usually leads to good negotiations.

People do have to make a living. Most of us choose to do it with honest work and sweat equity as opposed to just brazenly fricking over our fellow man and then getting on a soapbox trying to justify our greaseball bullshite. You people are fricking leeches.
