Both the old and the new logo suck.
What is the deal with Aladin's Lamp on the old logo?
And why is it paired with at Christian cross?
You know evangelicals are going to freak the frick out about the cross being removed. But the new logo looks too rainbow-ish, even though it is only 2 colors.
Austin needs something that reflects the rugged nature of the Texas "hill country".

You guys are all missing the point. They HAD to get rid of the insensitive, non-inclusive cross in the old logo. They couldn't just vote it away in council, so it had to be "legitimatized" by paying a 3rd party big bucks to perform "research" and "engagement" to get rid of it.

It would be a decent logo for Alcoholics Anonymous. Trash compared to the old one. More history being rewritten by untalented hacks.
