And I think this was just days or weeks after the death of Randy Rhodes. Would have been one of Brad's early appearances with Ozzy, if not the first.

You are correct. Randy had passed at that point.

Another memory of that concert. Ramsey Dardar (LSU player) was sitting in front of us with a Buddy and a couple of girls. He was wearing his LSU jersey and smoking weed with his crew.

With the amount of drugs and alcohol he did, 76 ain’t bad. He got to see his kids grow up and see his grandkids. The Back to the Beginning show hits harder now.

There is no metal without Black Sabbath. RIP Ozzy

Has anyone seen a statement from Zakk Wylde? I'd imagine he was there, or pretty close by when Ozzy passed.

Ozzy, young and vital.
Bill Ward, a complete total badass.
Tony Iommi, dark as frick.
Geezer Butler, another complete total badass.

Creating a new genre.

Keep it loud. RIP Ozzy.

See you on the other side. I saw him in concert in 1996. I thought he was old as hell back then but of course I’m sure it was because I was a teenager. No More Tears and Ozzmosis were heavy in my rotation back in the day. RIP. The Ozzman Goeth.

think about how much money he made and the resources that were at his disposal despite a hardcore party lifestyle.

Zakk's parents died young, and he's been close to Ozzy and Sharron since he joined the band. They've been almost like parents to him. He calls Sharron mom.

This is fiction. The man was a phenomenal singer with perhaps the most unique voice in rock history.

I remember an interview with Zakk Wylde probably circa the late 20 teens. They were getting ready for either a tour or some special engagement and were rehearsing. Sharron got the bright idea to hire Ozzy a vocal coach to help whip him into shape. Zakk said they launched in to whatever song they were rehearsing at stage volume and this dude was over there blowing in his pitch pipe and trying to give Ozzy directions. The band were all cracking up watching the interaction. They finished the song and someone ushered the guy out. Ozzy turned to Zakk and said something like, "She really means well with this vocal coach thing, but it's a little late in tha game innit?"
