I think you may be right - and with your breadth of knowledge most likely are...when a 124060 sells on chrono 24 or eBay there is another one put up for sale the same day from the same seller. Perhaps they have to seek them out once the sale is made but it does seem like they are hoarding and listing one at a time to drive up artificial scarcity

NIce but damn it looks large.
The new Sub has the same lug to lug as the last one, just under 48mm and it is the same lug to lug as the 16610 posted in the post just prior to the Cermit post. My guess is he has a wrist that is a little under 7".
Just FYI the new "41mm" Sub is only .3mm larger than the "40mm" Subs. The lugs are the biggest visual difference at .8mm thinner on the new one.

My Sub is a 116610. Is the wider clasp on the Sub 41 noticeable?

Look wise? Omega.
But I would pick Rolex for brand appeal

I've been following the eBay watch auctions for a while and the market is pretty dang efficient. A given model nearly always ends up within a hundred dollars of others in similar condition. Tough to find any bargains.

I don't own a "12" sub and haven't had one on my wrist that was sized so I can say personally. The vast majority of people that have owned both say they don't notice a difference. If you are used to an "11" the clasp does look pretty big.

The old Tudor snowflakes are the #2 most replicated...ever notice how the Ebay listings are almost always for the coveted blue dial/bezel? Reps are getting harder and harder to spot.
#1 is Rlx Sub (5508, 5513, 1680...)

Breitling makes a better watch than both omega and Rolex

Rolex is a nice piece.
I've had mine for 28 years...still looks new

My dad has had an Explorer II since the seventies. Still keeps good time but the self winding mechanism doesn't keep it charged up. Sometimes it stops overnight

I have a small wrist (6.25 inches), and I typically wear a 36mm watch. When I tried on the Kermit it didn’t feel too big. There was no overhang.

That image looks like Christmas.

it’s just the picture my wrist is 7.4 inches. One thing I love about the Sub is the glidelock clasp. On my 126711, 124300, 126334, and Milgauss I have to have the micro adjustment in the clasp moved to the 3rd spot and the easy link out for any of them to fit comfortably. I wear my watches a little loose I like to be able to fit my pinky between the clasp and bottom of my wrist.
