Thats a pretty close match mannerism wise, along with the mustache and not a perfect match, but more clean cut eye brows. That tattoo is going to make it easy to find this guy and question him.
Yep. If I were to bet I’d put it on him. I found the neighborhood post where they originally posted this back in January also so it’s legit

Idaho is probably the best one. As I recall, investigators probably had him pinpointed roughly halfway thorough the 7 weeks or so between incident and arrest.
If the best modern example is 7 weeks and they knew about him 3-4 weeks before arrest and were watching him, I'd say we're doing pretty good. I think the chance the perp here isn't found within a reasonable period (say, a month) is pretty low.
It's honestly incredible.

It’s definitely not three!

The perp will be identified within the next 72hrs. No way with as much as they have now, they won't have him. Guarantee Walmart is pulling every transaction for that backpack as we speak and providing names or security footage if paid with cash.

I'd be willing to bet that at this point, they have a pretty good idea of people involved in this. They just aren't telling us. Many such cases

Yeah, which like I've said for days now means the FBI knows she is dead. They are withholding additional video footage that could help the public identify him. They aren't in a hurry to catch him like they would be if she was in need of urgent rescue.

Well with the release of the description of the perp and ask for public's help...
Maybe I am wrong and they don't have a clue

This will probably turned out to be like all other missing/kidnapped scenarios, despite intense searching since Feb 1, they will find her body like less than a mile from her house.

I think she's been dead probably within a few hours after she was taken. I'm sure Savannah believes this as well considering she posted a reflective video of her mom and the kids when they were young. That's probably something you don't do if you still are holding out real hope.

Some random dude out hiking in the desert will come across it.

Agree, but everything for the first week or so was about ransom and finding her alive.
Now the authorities have video of the perp they aren't releasing that could help identify him. Unless the video they have shows the worst case scenario.

Me neither. Weird kid but not the killer IMO

While not a very high profile case, the case of Ronald Dominique in Houma was case that took a long time to solve and involved several victims over a 10 year period.
He was the perv that would show pictures of women to drifter lifestyle men offering sex with the woman in a picture, turns out he would tie them up and have sex with them and then asphyxiate them to death and then dump the body in remote locations between 1996 and 2006. He left bodies between Kenner and Terrebonne parish and as far away as Iberville Parish where his last victim was found.
Now he is serving life at Angola. There have been many documentaries about the case. It is funny a movie hasn’t been made. It would fit today’s DEI culture since it was a man killing other men for sexual perversion.
An even older case in Terrebonne and maybe even more a mystery has been the disappearance of A.J. Breaux. He seemed to vanish in thin air leaving his wallet and his car in a park in Houma. That case was even featured on Unsolved Mysteries.
