A burglary gone bad where you take the body? Math don't add up, bro.
Agreed, but based on this elderly woman's conservative lifestyle
To the grocery store, to the church and back home and since covid she has only been participating in church remotely.
Who would know about her million dollar plus home?
I'm still leaning toward Tommaso's friends or his ex con bandmate.
Do some research into his band "Early Black", the music and lyrics and their followers. It's kinda of a scary group.

FBI: DNA recovered from glove found near Guthrie home that appears to match glove worn by suspect

Couple this with Range Rover guy, this could get interesting.

TUCSON, Ariz. – A glove containing DNA found about two miles from the house of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie’s mother appears to match those worn by a masked person outside her front door in Tucson the night she vanished, the FBI said Sunday.
The glove, discovered in a field beside a road, was sent for DNA testing. The FBI said in a statement that it received preliminary results Saturday and was awaiting official confirmation. The development comes as law enforcement gathers more potential evidence as the search for Guthrie’s mother heads into its third week. Authorities had previously said they had not identified a suspect.

Formed in 2010 through Craigslist
A goth punk grunge band
Album titles like Life:Love::Love:Murder and song titles such as "Apocalypse Close to Home"
Let it be known that I have nothing against the above and it could mean nothing more than musical expression.
I'm a huge "Audiophile" and as of today's purchases I have almost 6400 CD's
I appreciate and listen to all genres with one exeption
"Gansta Rap"
Back to the point... Tommaso's band mate Dominic has an extensive rap sheet with charges including burglary, robbery, theft and embezzlement charges in Pima County, Arizona.
and Tommaso and Dominic are very close friends so it stands to reason that Dominic would know about Nancy's home. Doesn't mean Tommaso is involved.

I am just talking this out, but she goes missing what? 16-17 days ago?
If someone kidnapped her and was looking for something in exchange for her that communication would have already happened.
Was anything in her house stolen? I assume they have looked into her financial records to see if there were any transactions made so if nothing was stolen and there were no financial transactions made since she has gone missing what would be other motives? She saw something she wasn't supposed to?
Based on what the public knows, this is so damn strange.

this entire ordeal is completely ameturish .Someone targeted this old lady for who she was thinking they could score some serious ransom cash. At some point they realized this isn't the movies. you can't accept cash at a location of your choosing because between satellites and drones and God knows what else, you're not retrieving it much less spending it. Certainly cant have it wired anywhere either, same with bitcoin. So what do you do with the old broad? taking care of an old lady is tough. You could dispose of her if she hasn't dropped dead already but then you've got a murder charge in addition to kidnapping. It's also the desert so you cant simply drop her off on the road side either. Certainly can't do it in town or they'll have your vehicle description and tag on a hundred different cameras as soon as you do.

Yes, and an investigator working with Fox just brought a valid point and I will quote....
New reports attributing Nancy Guthrie's disappearance to a burglary gone wrong were disputed by a law enforcement source Sunday, as investigators pushed back on what they say is not the leading theory in the case.
The source said the latest theory behind the missing 84-year-old’s disappearance is not currently the prevailing view among investigators.
"This is not the working theory inside the unit," the source said before pushing back further on the burglary narrative, noting that nighttime residential burglaries are uncommon.
"Nighttime residential burglaries are so ridiculously rare. Crazy rare," the source said, before highlighting how "commercial building burglaries" happen at night and "residential during the day."
"We don't have any indication that [Guthrie] really kept anything valuable there and if this was a burglary gone wrong, they don't take the victim with them usually," the source said.

if she was as big into the anti ice anti trump bullshite that's been claimed, its quite possible someone within that subgroup of people figured out who she was related to and schemed up this ransom idea.

When I was on the grand jury several years back the DA told us that Walmart figures into — in some way — around 90% of crimes. He said they either happen at WalMart or it plays a role in the planning or post-crime aspect. He actually said, "Check with WalMart" is part of their approach to investigating murders and such.

People keep bringing up her $1 million-plus home, but that's not exactly a rarity in that area. Her house isn't even particularly nice compared to others. And do most burglars go through the front door?

We don't know if he did or not... We know he exited the front with Guthrie bc of the blood droplets.
Saw drone video earlier and they showed the two other exterior entrances to the home and neither had damage to them from a "break in".
Its all very very odd. Not saying its true, but almost lends to the detectives thoughts on the video of it being staged for some reason.

I thought I read somewhere that the front door had signs of forced entry but was also unlocked.
Yeah, I haven't burgled any homes, but I think I would probably not go through the front door.
