Last night dew points in East TX and in LA were in the low 50s. Now, they are in the high 60s into the low 70s. Kind of setting the stage for tomorrow's storms. As that low in OK deepens and ejects NE we will continue to see those high dews across the warm sector. Moisture won't be lacking again on this one.

So connect the dots of this to what to expect, please.

Rain. Lots of rain. And a possibility of severe storms.

Right now it is looking like two rounds of likely severe storms. Both rounds should have decent ingredients to work with, with the first round not really knocking down the atmosphere prior to the front coming through.

Tomorrow's threat looks to be primarily East TX into North LA. There will be good enough CAPE, good moisture, and shear to play with, particularly in NW LA. SE LA is caught in the time gap between Day 1 and Day 2 this go around, but there's a chance for severe there, as well.

This looks like another boom or bust setup right now.

I can't get pics to load right now with post.img, but the first round of semi-discrete cells moves into LA at around noon. It clears out, and the frontal storms start to move in after dark. They are also discrete/semi-discrete prior to lining out as they move East.

There may be clouds and light rain early in the morning around the area that could hamper the later activity a bit.

Interesting to see south Florida with more tornado warnings than the rest of the state.

Ian was an overachiever as far as producing tropical tornadoes. That's where most of those came from.
