Keep thinking that. Been there. Even with a partial blockage it can cause a HA. Go to the ER & get tested. Better safe than dead.

I have a high pain tolerance and threshold, but tonight it is really kicking up tonight. Anyone have any experiences with this type of issue? If the paint went into my back or flank, I'd think kidney stone.

Have you been checked for gall stones. Sounds somewhat similar and everyones is a little different. I had my gall bladder out 3 wks ago for similar issues. They found mine with a simple ultrasound.

One of the ICU was while waiting on the cardiologist to run test. The worst attack was the first one. Kept me for two weeks and was touch and go for a few days. If I were you, get this checked out as soon as you can.

And use a different cardiologist than the one thumperpait uses.

Without a doubt. He did catch a almost total blockage of the widow maker vein. Would have been dead within a week. Had to get a triple level neck fusion three years ago and had hell then to get clearance. Didn't want me doing that for risk of heart issues during surgery. Told him it's better to take the chance than being paralyzed from my neck.

Probably gas. A couple really good farts, you’ll probably be ok…

Sounds like diverticulitis. It can be really painful.

I thought of that but the ribs are so to the touch (and getting more so) and I don't have any digestive issues. If I touch the left bottom of my rib cage (at my side), it kicks up quite a bit of paiin.

Sounds like you have costochondritis. Can become EXTREMELY painful.

Pleurisy has been mentioned. The pain is awful, and I'm pretty damn pain tolerant.

That's your #2 bet behind costochondritis.

frick your insurance company, get the CT and insist they pay for it.

From personal experience it could save your life and at the very least save you weeks or months of PT and suffering.

My new cardiologist whom I had never seen before insisted they approve my chest CT as I had zero history with her and a family history of cardiology issues, father 3x by pass in his early 50’s and his father died of a massive Heart Attack at 52. It saved my life 10 months ago, Widow Maker was 99% blocked and I was exhibiting zero signs, as a matter of fact no high cholesterol and threw up a 128/68 as they were prepping me for the stent, other two arteries were like an 18 y.o.’s.

Good luck

I went to doctor today, who recommended a cat scan.
This. I fell forward over a living room table and broke a rib. X-rays didn't show anything but a month later I had a cat scan for something unrelated and it showed the break; 8th rib, right side. Doctor called it an "occult fracture."
