I put my email on this thread. I will be happy to send you the video of my baby in the shelter.
I don't like politics and don't pay any attention to them. I have no idea what a Congressman does or a Senator as for my situation. I was assuming the board does. They told me to contact my Congressman and I did and it was good advice. Do Senators get involved in stuff like this, I still don't know. So that makes me a troll in your mind? You might be dumber than me.

I stated it to explain why I am ignorant as to what politicians actually do. I do see dishonesty, corruption, division, etc...in all political systems worldwide so I don't get involved. I do however pay my taxes and follow their laws as long as their law doesn't violate God's law. If a politician can actually help me that would be great. I appreciate you reaching out to them.

If you haven’t already you should absolutely contact your congressmen, senators and governor and give them the details. It will probably amount to nothing but it’s not a 0% chance that they can’t help. At the very least they may be able to smooth over some visa applications or refugee status paperwork. Ukraine is big news and every politician on the planet wants to say they were part of it in some way.

So you’re one of those who just likes to throw their hands up in the air and say “Screw it ! They’re all corrupt !! OMGZ !!! “. How pathetic, and lazy .

I think i see the problem… maybe pay less attention to religious fairy tales and more attention to public policy and world events .

Apparently I don't live up to your standards. I'm actually okay with that.
I am curious what you think you accomplish with comments like that? Is it to insult me or do you feel you are impressing the board?

And it's staring right back at you in the mirror.
Most people that like to say they stay informed in politics, probably should not be voting.

Also keep in mind that nobody in her city was leaving or even stock piling supplies for that matter. They all thought it was nonsense

I've been following your thread for a while and continue to pray for the safety of your family.
However, be super careful what you post going forward. Not saying there are Russian spies on TD, but who knows. OpSec should be buttoned up at this point. Maybe edit some of your prior posts as well removing details & pics.

By all means keep posting updates. Just make them a bit less specific. No names, locations, occupations, routes, Ukrainian troop locations, etc.

This whole thread is basically everything I’ve argued about for 15 years on the political board- the folly of Recency bias. People just don’t think things can happen until they do. It’s in every phase of life. It’s like that maxim about bankruptcy- it happens very very slowly and then suddenly all at once. As much as I hate that this happened to you, and as hard as I’m pulling for you and yours, I hope others take heed. Just because things are a certain way and things seem improbable, it can flip in a second. In this case, the psychology of one sociopath, flipped every assumption overnight. It’s a life lesson for all of us.

Re-read my post.. i think that people like you would do yourself a service to stay informed and not bury your head in the sand because “corruption” and “god” - ESPECIALLY when you have a young family depending on your decisions and how informed or ill-informed you might be .

So it’s better to be ignorant and clueless , then go and pull the lever for your favorite candidate ? Or to be uninformed, then make a decision about how likely a deranged madman is to invade ur country ? GTFO with that nonsense .

No, that's my exact point. You come off as ignorant and clueless and that's why you posted that crap on this thread to hope someone reads your shitty post and gives you attention. People like you are so gung ho about one belief that you forget this is America and we are all individuals and he is entitled to believe in his God as he wishes. Decisions were made, and I'm sure he wishes he made other choices, but hindsight is 20/20. This is where he is at now and he has my and many others' full support. You downing someone's religious freedoms and beliefs makes me think you're nothing less than a pinko.
