Say what you want but Don was a great songwriter during his day.

He had some music that sounded good if you didn’t listen to the words.

Some of his lyrics were garbage, especially “The End of the Innocence.”

If that question had an easy answer Artie Lange wouldn't look like a science experiment these days.

people can build amazing tolerance levels.

I know/have known people that can drink an insane amount of liquor and still function.

Drugs... well.. it's been years but I've seen some crazy shite on that end as well.

When I worked for Pepsi in Scottsdale (a long time ago) she came into one of my accounts (Alpha Beta) on Camelback. She purchased an entire aisle end display of Gallo wine. Check bounced!

So your argument is better that she killed the baby instead of doing drugs while pregnant? How about not get pregnant or be a responsible mom?

Saw her at a concert a few years ago in Tulsa. Wish I could have seen her at a concert when she was young.

Yes, the song Sara was about her unborn baby, if a girl, that she aborted.

You’ll no longer be pro choice when you stand before God.

But this is another illustration of how heavy the tab is to pay for an abortion later in life. Still rationalizing the choice when she was in her 70’s.

I'm pretty sure there would have been no Fleetwood Mac

That would have been fine with me and virtually all of the music world.

Fleetwood Mac was more or less done by 1979 after Fleetwood Mac and Rumors albums.

You can try to argue they had great music post 1979, but let's face it, it was average at best. Not iconic.

Further, IMO Lindsay Buckingham is the most creative genius in FM. Nick's would be second.

They were never recreating Rumours, and that's not just because of the quality of the music, but more so the entire mystique around that album. Besides, Lindsay was adamantly opposed to doing anything remotely like Rumors when the next album came around.

Tusk was all Lindsay Buckingham. He pretty much demanded to have full creative control over that album, or he'd quit the band. That was his baby more than any other FM album. It wasn't a flop by pretty much any other standard, except for when it is compared to Rumors.

Buckingham is a great musician and writer, but I don't think FM would have been what they were with just him or with just Stevie. It took both of them being part of that band to shoot them to the top.

I preferred the FM songs where Christine McVie was doing the lead vocals over Stevie Nicks
