you could still find rotary phones in the 70s but push button phones were pretty common starting in the late 60s

Oh man, that gun rack brought me back. I know dad quit doing it because people were stealing the guns when they drove into town. He never got his stolen but a couple of buddies of his got smashed and grabbed at the gas station.

Same reason a lot of guys quit bringing their guns to school like that. Not that the school had a policy or anything at the time.

The Warehouse was a great place to see some great bands. This is not my stub, but I saw this show. $6 at the door.

I remember getting nachos there with my buddies in our freshman year (1980). We loved that place right off campus.

That little jukebox they had at the table (booth really) had a live version of Bodhisattva that was spectacular. Weird the things you remember.

I loved the 70's but for the gas lines. Money was flowing in Louisiana like a mofo with all of the offshore drilling. California also did well due its own heavy oil production to feed its refineries. There was a LOT of migration from the Midwest, especially Michigan, to the South in those days. Loss of steel mills and auto manufacturing really hit the Midwest hard.

The price of gasoline doubled in that decade.
