The era known as The Age of Luxury is approaching—a time when traditional jobs will no longer be necessary.

This has long been anticipated in sci-fi novels

The people criticizing are insanely stupid.

Not only was it made in a day, it couldn't have been made 6 months ago.

It will keep improving at a rate and on a scale that people cannot even imagine.

Critics talk like the AI problems of today will stay problems for years and years. It's absurd. The rate of improvement is what's astonishing and when the AI becomes self improving, it's over.

People living in denial because they do not want to consider the implications of whats happening around us, and more quickly than anyone dreamed.

So like every action movie out there

cool but a long way from making a movie.

Not sure what "long way" means to you, but a good ai setup could take that and clean up issues in minutes.
You wont be able to tell in less than a year from now.

They sound like people criticizing email in 1985 and the AI transformation is going to make the Internet implemented changes seem like childs play.

Looks a lot more like AI Slop than a $200M movie.

Compared to AI video generators a few years ago, this is mind blowing.

Where will it be in 5 years? That’s the point.

AI Porn in a few years is going to be un-fricking believable.

There’s gonna be a lot of dudes who won’t be able to regulate. Having some kind of ultra realistic customization options through augmented reality/ VR every time and then some hyper realistic sex doll that interacts with it.

They will never leave the house or want to put up with real women.

I would bet this gets regulated.

or maybe they are hating on it because they have considered the implications and would like society as a whole to not just accept the fate that we seem to be sprinting towards?

The laws governing pedophilia will have to be completely rewritten. A crazy pedo could easily say it’s not real. Why am I being charged for something that is 100% fake and computer generated?

morally and ethically if AI is so good that you can’t tell the difference I think there is a crime there … but right now I don’t think there’s anything on the books that distinguishes the two, is there?

I read an interesting article a few months ago that said 100% fully customizable AI porn will be a multi billion dollar business within 10 years. Hairy, bald, black, latin, Asian, white, old, young, group, vintage, modern, threesome, compilations, full movies… etc any category you could ever think of would be fully customizable and indistinguishable from real footage.

look for more interesting (and comic-accurate) than anything Zack Snyder or James Gunn have done.

Keep in mind they are limited by what the studios will allow/fund them to do.

I liked the part where the Cybertruck sounded like it had a V8 in it

that is 100% the way Hollywood already does it. The engines you hear in most movies are not the actual engines. There are plenty of 4 and 6 cylinder cars that sound 60s muscle post sound editing.

Special effects are terrible, but since the move to CGI, that’s been common place

The horse is out of the barn. The time to accept or reject has long since passed.

The thing they fear has already happened. That's the problem. There is no stopping it at this point.

The point of no return passed quietly. Mass civil disruption is on the horizon.

Nope. We could collectively end it right now.

But we won't.

Because money is to be made. And not by all. Just a few.

Yay.

All it showed is crappy special effects and a bunch of ADHD 3 second clips. It can make an action sequence with no emotion and just explosions. It is cool but a long way from making a movie.

That’s a lot of words just to tell us how stupid you are.

What are you confused about?

We, collectively, as a society as a whole, absolutely have the power to stop or end the proliferation of AI into every aspect of our lives.

We could do that.
