Good luck to you my friend.

A similar thing happened to my cousin many years ago. He came home from work and found his wife dead who was about 25-26 years old. Luckily the kids don't remember it. Undiagnosed heart condition and they had 2 kids 3 and under.

I thought at times it would destroy him but he pulled it together for the kids and has a great life now and the kids are both successful young adults.

Obviously you never get over something like that but I'm praying for a similar outcome for you

I am so happy for you and the children and congrats to your daughter on the scholarship. As a mom this is all I could ever want if something happened to me, you are honoring your wife in that way. Great job dad!!

Remember your post on your wife passing a year ago. That was a tough read and goes to show that no matter your age you are never guaranteed the next day. I think alot of us forget that. As much as we clown around on here there are not many places men can go to vent because they are usually looked at as the rock of the family. I for one am glad you came here. You made us all take a look at ourselves and what would we do in your situation. To be honest not sure many could have handled it the way you did. Would like to thank you for keeping us all updated on your journey.

All the best. Having been through difficult albeit different circumstances, I know how life can change and seem so hopeless. Trust in God and keep moving. Your wife has every reason to be happy, and I don’t think that was just a coincidence you felt that.
