There is a huge lake called Beaver Lake that is located in Northwest Arkansas. A lot of people go boating kayaking and fishing on it. Maybe no ocean but there is a water source.

That’s quite the baseless assertion of someone who is on an anonymous message board. Take a hike, bozo.

nah, not yet, just saying I've seen both sides of it, I used to live on a cool little river in FL just north of WPB, protected from the ocean but with quick access, I could come home from work, start pealing off clothes and almost never break stride, and walk out the back door onto the dock, jump on my boat and be in the ocean within 10 minutes, shite changed when I had kids(didn't have to if I wanted to be a shitty parent ,) may as well have lived in the desert, I'd take fresh water boating as a norm and charter for the saltwater stuff when I want to do that, that whole "landlocked" comment just made me chuckle :

Just got back from an extended weekend trip with the family to NW Arkansas. I've been there several times, and it seems like a great place to live. Fayetteville, Siloam Springs, and many more seem to be great towns.

most of your posts are ridiculous but I actually agree with this

Walmart destroys small towns, but it's not their fault

I keep trying to get into freshwater fishing since I moved to the middle of Texas, but I just can't. It's so boring.

I like salt water sport fishing, but fishing an 8 hour tournament with little to no activity out on the ocean is the definition of boredom, especially if you're in rough seas, only way to break the tedium is go inside and have a beer/cocktail

And right across the street from headquarters is an iberia bank haha. Smart move on their part. I bet those little old shotgun homes next to corporate go for 2,000/square foot or more just bc of the proximity.

I get that, I used to fish so much that I had extra freezers and would give away a lot of my catch, still love the water, I just take it easy on the fish anymore

The only thing I know about Arkansas is that they’ll be the last state to leagalize marijuana. Probably right behind Louisiana, who will be after Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia.
