I have come around on this one. We should have laws that any global corp doing business in America has to follow the strictest rules of any country it does business in.

I’m sure people with multiple sclerosis and pancreatic cancer are punching the wall and wondering why they couldn’t think of that.
The data is crystal clear on this. The people with the highest VO2 live longer and better than those that do not. Is it a vaccine against everything? No, but it is certainly better than anything pharma has delivered. Pharma doesn't cure anything.

Medicine just makes you sicker
Get off the carbs and do some squats
But they all don't make you sicker. I have some topical medicine from dermatologist for my psoriasis. Things go great in the summer when the suns bright and shiny and im getting UVs! But come winter I need the medicine and it's annoying having to pay $50 per bottle and I have really good insurance.

Why is every commercial for psoriasis or excema nowadays
I feel like there’s a podcast somewhere that has the cure

Can we end the fricking commercials already. That shite should be illegal.
They have so many side effects that they have to garble them real fast to fit it in. I'm going into the business of coming up with all those stupid names for drugs.

Every brand name is approved by the FDA the generic name is a compilation of class/mechanism of action etc. so some parts are required to be in the actual name.

Remember children your 401k probably has multiple drug stocks in it so before you go crazy about the prices remember you are a share holder in those companies.

So, why can't there be a fund paid into by countries around the world for drug development and the US doesn't carry the entire burden?

It’s hard to believe what our government allows.

The reason drug prices in the US are so expensive is because we subsidize a huge portion of the rest of the world's prescription drugs. The average cost to bring a drug to market from testing on mice or rats through 3 phases of clinical trials to FDA approval is around $1.3 billion. And with only about 9% of drugs making it to approval without failing along the way ...all of that money has to eventually make sense.
You’ve certainly gobbled the big pharma kool-aid.

Big pharma, little pharma, the economic reality is inescapable. I've almost exclusively traded companies with market caps below $5 billion.
Drug development costs are sky high because the labor involved is highly technically skilled, manufacturers have to develop new processes for new drugs and companies don't get paid for product used in trials.
The bottom line is that new drugs will continue to be developed whether they are gene therapies that cure inherited diseases, cancer drugs that more precisely target tumors or personalized treatments that are abled to be tailored to individuals and the cost of that will borne by Americans while the rest of the world is not chipping in.

Go to the rest of the world and see if you can get the same medicines we have here. Take Tepezza, it’s the only treatment for thyroid eye disease available anywhere in the world. It was approved in the US in 2020 and is massively successful. It’s nearly $20,000 a shot but if you have TED, it’s your only option. Coming up on 5 years in the US market, and Tepezza is still not available in Europe or anywhere else except for Brazil and Saudi Arabia.
