Give me 5 minutes with your kid and I’ll talk him out of finishing undergrad early. Way too much fun to rush through that

Well, let’s see. My 20 year old is taking summer courses so that he can graduate a semester early enabling him to work more prior to law school. He’s also working 24-32 hours a week. My 16 yo has volleyball workouts 3 days a week and games 2 days a week and summer reading. My 7 year old is going through tutoring 2 times a week, cheerleading workouts 2 times a week and softball games 2 times a week. My 5 year old is in the midst of daily swim lessons, tball games twice a week and doing summer work for his upcoming kindergarten year. Now my 10 month old just started walking and eating solid food so she’s kind of slacking....but damn it to hell if she’s not the cutest thing ever so she gets permission to slack.
Overscheduled. Let them just play a little.

My students have a different to do list for the summer.
1. Steal cars
2. Steal guns
3. Rob the liquor store.
4. Rob the gas station.
5. Carjack at least 3 different people.
6. Do a drive by shooting.
7. Sell drugs.
8. Fight with family members
9. Fight with other kids in the neighborhood.
10. Get arrested, get a slap on the wrist from the judge, and repeat once or twice each month.

The OP contains an unprecedented level of zaniness. Oh, the frivolity. This shall not be allowed.

Aren't you a little young to be working on cold fusion?

Yes...yes, I am.

“Giving a monkey a shower”

S/B = Teach a monkey to take its own shower. We need more self-sufficient monkeys ??

I may make the argument that P&F is the greatest cartoon man has made. It’s so perfectly done for a kid and adult perspective.

The quotes are completely interwoven into our family’s dialogue I forget sometimes.

It’s a reference to a Disney cartoon.

That’s going to translate well with most people here

I’m assuming a lot of people here have kids, nieces, nephews, or grandchildren that watch Disney. At least a portion of them would get it because the show was pretty popular on Disney for years
