Born on this day in 1732, George Washington would have been 294 years old today.

Happy Birthday, George!

He had almost nothing to do with the writing of the Constitution.

He also quickly committed what most historians consider to be the first 2 unconstitutional acts, but yeah...he cool

Anyone wanna call T Jefferson the GOAT, I got zero problems. Washington is overrated.

He had everything to do with it being more than just a piece of paper. He doesn't beat the British then there is no America and no Constitution.

The fact that you think you have any standing to criticize GW is laughable. You should thank him for being allowed to express your shite opinion.

Admins, please rename his username to just “Utahrd”. He should not be allowed to call himself “Cajun.”

George Washington also was the Leonardo Dicaprio and Derek Jeter of his time. His starting lineup was legendary. Basically the most premium 1700s pussy that our new nation had to offer at the time.

He was only the President of the Constitutional Convention. Not important at all in the writing of that document.

His biggest accomplishment while in office was also an unconstitutional act.

And if he had had his way it would have been up to Congress, not the Courts, to interpret the Constitution. Think about where we would be if Marshall hadn't been as farsighted as he was.

They’d have hoisted the black flag long ago. The nation we have now is not what they intended.

Even though the second unconstitutional act he committed was suspending the 1st Amendment by making certain speech illegal?

Ok guy.

There were way more people who were way more important than he was throughout our history. Hell, even Lincoln, who committed several unconstitutional acts himself, is more important.

=/= putting forth ideas for creation of document

Yep. Both baw, was it a great accomplishment. Much better than bringing troops to bear over a BS tax or jailing people for speech.

Marshall...another name closer to GOAT than Washington.

If George doesn't step down at the end of his term there is no Constitution...

... it would have just been a test run.
