Quite the collection already built, and yet to build. I am a tank and plane guy myself, but curious, I don't see any ships.. I've built a couple but lean more into the plane or tanks.

I have a few ships, like 4. But they’re not really my thing.

The P51 was Ehhh.. with the Allison engine. It became a game changer with the Merlin.

Build the M16 halftrack “Meat Chopper” with the quad 50’s.

That’s probably going to be my next American vehicle build.

I can understand why NAA went to the bubble canopy in the D model for visibility, but I like the look of the B model better
—I came here to say this—the canopy is an early model. You can see the influence of the P40.

Very well done model and subject. Don Gentile flew with the RAF "Eagle " squadrons (Americans enlisted in the RAF thru Canada before U.S. involvement in WWII) before being folded into the USAAF. Finished the war with 30 air and ground kills.

I'm also a big fan of Old Crow a P-51 flown by Bud Anderson.

I just watched one of those "making of Star Wars" videos on Youtube and it turns out the Millenium Falcon scale model they used was constructed with plastic parts from model tank kits. At ILM they had a pile of hobby tank kits just like you have in your room,

And we thought the special effects in that movie was cutting edge!

The P-51 was one of the last & best prop driven planes ever.

Well done sir !!! Flew this morning was told to hold short for P51 short final. I never get sick of seeing em. I'm lucky where I'm at the 51's are a routine sighting. We have probably 6-7 at the field. Including Bardahl, Voodoo ,Strega, Dolly, spam can, sweet and lovely, and occasionally plum crazy and lady Alice. Also is an A model miss Virginia
