How is NWA?
Good restaurants? Entertainment? I know it offers outdoors opportunities and stable economy. But what else

Wrong. This place is exploding.

City proper populations don’t tell the whole story, but Nashville’s explosion is a little overstated. It’s growing to be sure, but lacks a leading industry like Austin (tech) and Charlotte (banking) have.
Population growth 2000 - 2017
Austin: 294,153
Charlotte: 318,207
Nashville: 121,353
Charlotte shows no signs of slowing have just added a new HQ for Honeywell and now the SunTrust/BBT merger.

The alcohol laws there are a deal breaker. Your bar tab is a mile high compared to basically any other American city to get just as drunk.

A couple on my radar are:
Chattanooga, Tenn
Knoxville, Tenn
Frisco, TX
All three Places I know people moving to or buying second houses there.

All cities are on the rise in a general sense. The population has been moving out of rural areas and into the urban areas for a steady 10- 20 years.

The only city in Louisiana gaining people is Lake Charles/Sulphur. Most is only temporary too.
Lake Charles has always had a ton of potential with the abundance of waterfront and outdoor recreation available. As the city's affluent population grows, and some of the "old money" loosens up, the aesthetics of the city should steadily improve, which should help sustain growth and attract more business.

Raleigh NC has more than doubled it's city population in the last 15 years. The Research Triangle area has grown almost 1M in population since 2002. That is huge growth.
