Galveston or Biloxi 6 to 5 and pick em

It don't happen often but I have been in Biloxi on the rare day that the Gulf , for whatever reason, flushed out the river water and brought in clear water and it looks like the Bahamas. Not often but I have seen it a couple of times. Lived across the street from the beach in Galveston for almost a year and it Never happened there....

First beach I decided I never wanted to visit again. Galveston was the second.

I’ve never been to Galveston but from what I heard it sounds like the Gulf’s Daytona

Galveston for sure in the US.

Pretty much anything west of Navarre on the Gulf of America is just different levels of suck.

Not sure about the 80s, but I didn’t see anything of the sort.

There’s a beach in Golden Gate National Park on the ocean side, that has dark coarse sand made of ground up rocks. It’s a nice nature scene, but the beach is small, the “sand” isn’t comfortable, and the water is cold.

When I was there, a few surfers were out in full wet suits.

The bulk of the gulf beach is broken shell detritus. You stand in the water and your legs are blasted by shell pieces. Lovely place, but their beaches can suck a turd.

Coronado Beach. Last time I was there the water was a dark brown from all the sewage and shite flowing into the ocean from TJ.

He lived there for 2 years while waiting for the project to begin in Recife for Shell. His wife came back home to mama about a month into living in Recife. Shell supplied them with drivers, a villa, and a maid. After the second time a maid went berzerk because someone put a spell on her, she was out of there with their toddler daughter. They did return as he was the venture manager for Shell's BC10 which became Park of Shells offshore subsea venture. This time there was a compound with all American/European occupants and school which was more to their liking. It was another 3 year hitch.

Also during his first hitch they were in Rio for Carnival which they could see from their hotel was a whole lot of men on men anal in the streets.

I went during what was Brazil's wintertime. Even then, I found the beach to be pretty crowded. I can't imagine what it's like during the summer or any big event like Carnival, World Cup, or the Olympics. You definitely pay a foreigner tax on street venue good and the little bar/cabanas just off the beach are fine during the day, but I was informed are native only at night. Needless to say, I had 0 desire to even try my luck with that.

Virginia Beach. We lived on the beach, and I barely remember the sun out, unless it was cold as shite. It was a dumpy apartment block, filled with roaches, and all I smelt was shite rotting on the beach, combined with the fish market nearby. It's why I don't eat seafood to this day, and despise the sand, the beach, and seaweed

Dude, where the hell did you live in VB? I rented a garage apartment at Atlantic/45th and I couldn't wait to get off work and hit the beach.
That was back in the 90's so it may have changed, but I loved my time there.
