I had an uncle tell me the worst beach he’d ever been on was Omaha Beach.
(He wasn’t there for Baseball - or to get a tan.)

I’ve been to Pensacola during seaweed time. Wasn’t pretty. I didn’t find the beach at Tamarindo, Costa Rica pretty either. The Florida panhandle has a nicer beach.

Seaside in Jersey. It was a while ago, though.

I’ve been to a lot of beaches,California,Spain Florida,Grand Isle,Holly Beach,Galveston.I didn’t care for any of them.
I enjoyed scuba diving, snorkeling, love salt water fishing.
Spending time on a beach,no thanks.

Ft Myers pre hurricane, a few months before it came in.
Zero waves, it was like a lake the whole time. So much construction going on in the area (pre-hurricane) so constant jackhammers and whatnot, and the street people on the sidewalks by the beach that you couldn't avoid, totally fricking trashy dope heads, half dead zombies. It was almost as bad as New Orleans.

You are correct on that one. The Aransas “beach” on the gulf side
There is some crustacean that looks like seaweed which washes up and rots on the beach. Very smelly
Oil tar balls also washing up along with the trash
Trucks and cars all along the sand with crowds
Not a good relaxing time…makes Surfside TX look nice.

I would say Grand Isle but I’m not even sure that counts as a beach. That’s how bad.
Posted on 2/5/26 at 10:29 pm to SaintlyTiger88
The answer is Grand Isle, hands down. Horrible, nasty beach
