“Middle of nowhere”? Please.

Literally the middle of I-10 relative to the widest part of LA.

TX = 1 hr
BR = 45 min

Buddy..........

It's over 2 hours from Lafayette to Orange, Texas, just over the Sabine.

It's between 50 minutes and 6 hours from Lafayette to Baton Rouge.

As someone from Lafayette and who currently lives in Baton Rouge: it hasn’t happened yet. Sorry.

Grew up in BR. Lived in laffy for 15 years. Lafayette is light years better in almost every aspect. Family still lives in BR. The city has nothing to offer outside of LSU except for proximity to fishing and hunting and being close to Nola.

Had. Lafayette had culture. Hasn’t for decades now. But it certainly still tries to eat on that reputation, though.

Tell me what I can do in Lafayette than I can’t do in Baton Rouge twice over.

The top 3 in the state is very easy these days. You can rank them however but it’s really top 3 in any order based on personal preference.

Lafayette
Mandeville/Covington
Ruston

There’s a Grand Canyon gap between these 3 to #4.
