B) Olympic sized swimming pool with a great white shark but you have a bad cut on your ankle. No way to stop the bleeding. You’re not effected but the blood is pumping into the water.
I was a competitive swimmer and water polo player most of my life, and can move laterally very well in the water. I think I can easily evade the shark for 5 minutes, and use the knife, my feet, and hands to keep at bay if it gets too close. They don't like getting hit in the nose.

I guess I'm thinking it wouldn't be too difficult to keep the shark from biting off my leg for 5 minutes. Get your back up against the wall and stab it when it comes to investigate.
ETA: I thought you meant you'd just sit there with the cut on your ankle and the shark would let you bleed out.

Doesn’t matter. You aren’t surviving any of those. The one possible exception is the chimp of it was cautious. You might get lucky and it won’t attack within the 5 minute time frame but if does you are either dead or wish with you were.

I like this approach with the tiger. If he starts to come up the tree after me, I have one chance to jump down towards him and land an executioner blow with the hatchet...one chance
