The irony is that if you ask younger generations what they'd like to see done, it usually involves more government spending - aka money printing.
Essentially more of what led us here.
Plus they aren't rejecting the sexual revolution and turning back to God.
The sexual revolution is the source of the cultural rot, as well as the ultimate source of Clown World.

So you want to blame a generation which endured the Carter era misery index which had 14% interest rates, soaring gas prices and serious unemployment because you expect to enjoy an artificially inflated minimum wage for unskilled services while you demand a new house with premium amenities at a 7% mortgage.
Whine somewhere else until Mommy comes down to the basement to check your diaper.
The problem is not really generational, but is actually caused by the uni-party policies which are undermining the value of our money and manipulating us.
Vote conservative and stop embracing the conflict theorist view of our world. It really is not that simple.

Lack of education. Everyone carries an endless source of knowledge device in their pockets, but use it to post selfies and spread hate.
Watch any “person on the street” interview where they’re asked about basic history, math, or current events. It’s embarrassing. Start requiring basic knowledge in order to cast a vote. See if the tide doesn’t turn.

I don’t think it is a generational thing as much as a regional thing. Deep South folks tend to be conservative across all ages.

1. They raised the Gen Xers and millennials who don't hold traditional American values.
Passing the blame back for actions of the newer generations. It’s just never the newer generations fault.
quote:
The movement of manufacturing jobs to east and southeast Asia starts happening heavily in the 90s as well, the exact time boomers start getting high level positions with businesses. This created huge profits for those on top at the detriment of the average American worker.
Again.. which has stopped or been at least eroded with the newer generations.. correct? Any millennial or Gen Z “buy only American” campaigns out there? So your generalization here was always inevitable. No matter the generation. And it will continue. No matter the generation.
quote:
Boomers are the original entitled generation with their youth having massive counter culture movements in the 60s and 70s. Hippies, draft dodgers, black panthers, cults, and more. They were brought into a world their parents and grandparents had absolutely dominated but never made the sacrifices their ancestors made.
You saying this on behalf of new generations who only care about likes and followers?? Who never went without air conditioners? Who have quickly eroding social skills because they stare at their phones and text each other from the other side of the room? Who believe anything they are told by the internet, celebrities, and “influencers”?
quote:
They view everything in a monetized way, even the future of the children of this country. They won't deal with any inconvenience. They'll just print more money or bail out companies. What they are doing with the national debt and social security doesn't phase them because they won't be around when the shite hits the fan.
Ok. Are any other generations in government, from both parties, speaking out about this? The squad mad about printing money or debt? Excess spending? Handouts? Giveaways? More govt assistance?
“Our generation is like this because of the boomers!!!1!1”. No you are like this because you have learned the blame game and to cry and wail for what you want by watching your other peers.

The 1950s was when politicians and Pentagon drunk with power from having had absolute and total control of the country to facilitate winning WW II realized they were unwilling to return power and control to the electorate.
Voters were considered sheeple unfit to make decisions . The politicians started clandestinely making those decisions for the people " for their own good."
Thus was born the "Deep State" which has grown and flourished ever since. 70 years later here we are where govt of the people for the people by the people is replaced by a huge bureaucracy and a govt controlled by the power elite.
So this covers several generations from 1950 to 2020.

People. Period. Sin crosses generations.

True, but the government has contributed to a lot of the problems you have listed. A lot of folks don't have to take responsibility for their actions because the government is bailing them out of consequences.
The government needs to do less, not more.

You conveniently leave out the control of congress since 2000. How are you going to blame the younger generations when they have little to 0 political and economic power? Oh you can't that's why.

Whichever generation voted in ol’ pedo Joe.

Boomers raised the other generations, and have had the most time in Congress. They have also refused to exit the workforce, which has created soft caps at a lot of companies.

There are very little actual conservatives, but a whole bunch of people that want to burn slightly less money on things they care about.

Progressive generation, Missionary generation and Lost generation.

The last 6-7 years of Boomers aren't even 65 yet. I'm not sure we can blame them for not being retired yet.

Boomers literally have 68 out of the 100 Senate seats, the most seats in the House of Representatives by a country mile and have had the presidency for 28 out of the past 30 years. How can anybody say that Boomers aren’t the generation most responsible for the direction this country is heading in?

I keep asking who in the younger generation is currently pushing back and I keep getting crickets. So apparently it’s business as usual. Again.. the socialist millennial from NY is even riding the congressional road to riches.
And don’t forget.. Millennials and Zers are screaming about having their student loans paid off for them. But after that… it would be different.. right? Then they could begin to save the world. Well.. right after they get socialized health care they want. They will need money for that. Then they could save fhe world. Well…. Maybe more money for free college. Need that to keep from having to borrow… oh and housing is also a right… need more buildings for safe spaces… programs for the homeless to get housing… more government jobs to employ the people to oversee all of this… and a new government agency to enforce equity…. Gotta have regulation.. speaking of regulation… revive the green new deal… gonna need more money for that too. And then maybe get to saving the world from the stingy ole boomers.
