It's too cold.
Probably a more educated person, all races.
Canada probably doesn't have the drug / gang issue as America has created.

My territory was all of Canada. I've been to every province and every major city. One Rep office was in Toronto. I stayed in downtown hotels and never thought about crime. A few years later my Rep moved out of the city and into a home on the outskirts. I stayed in an upscale hotel, that a movie theater across a vacant city block. Walking to the theater one evening, I encountered one of the greatest threats I ever encountered in Canada. Of all things to pop up, a skunk stepped out of the uncut grass looking directly at me, I stopped, he stopped, stomped his front feet for a few seconds and raised his tail. I turned and took another path to the theater.
We sat in parking lot at an Alcan smelter well north of Burnaby for about an hour. Momma and her cubs had the parking lot for a while. Don't poke the bear. They held the ferry for the power plant while we sat and waited for the all clear. Grizzly Momma is something to mess with.

Its basically the equivalent of Seattle from an ethnic breakdown.

Why do cities like El Paso, Laredo, McAllen have low homicide rates compared to other cities, even though they are full of poors and people of color?
El Paso-4.9%
Laredo - .5%
McAllen- .9%

Because the N'Drangheta and what's left of the Sicilian clans there in the GTA rule with an iron fist and want crime down and under control to keep the rackets running smoothly, particularly drug importation to and from Europe to North America.

America has a huge underclass that comparable Western countries just don't have. It's what drags us down in all the metrics anti-Americans use to talk shite about specific systems in our country (education, crime, etc.).
And this isn't some "coded racism". The white underclass population is much larger (in terms of total numbers) than any other race.

Toronto had 84 murders all of last year. This was in a city of 2.8 million people. That's a murder rate of 3 per 100k people (Salt Lake City's rate was 6 per 100k). Canada's largest city is also 50% minority so it's not exactly Mayberry.
That's because the murder problem has zero to do with race. It isn't a black issue. It's an issue of black American culture.

I heard a Canadian comic whose name escapes me describing how Canadian people are.
“We have aboot 35 million people in Canada. They’re all nice. Or pretty nice. Except for aboot 10,000 assholes. They all work for the Canadian Border Services Agency.”

Not only is Toronto only 9% black but most black Canadians tend to be African/Carribean immigrants, which are usually ambitious types like Asians, Indians, and Latinos.

There's alot of asians in Toronto. Why do blacks get the yellow slice of the pie?
Posted on 5/16/22 at 8:23 am to yaboidarrell
Because Toronto has no systematic racism

Boston had 39 murders last year.

Racism comes with costs, you deal with crime from an underclass. We also have a long border with a country barely in control with its internal security. In addition, most cases the victims look like the suspect, y’all are just divas sometimes

My first interaction with those folks rings true with this observation.
US Customs is consistently worse though. Been detained by them twice and both times they were major aholes.
