That bitch arse Will Smith played Muhammed Ali in a film and he could barely make Chris Rock blink with a slap. JFC will smith is fricking pussy.
I initially thought it was fake but I like romes theory that he was looking to score some woke/victim points in the heat of the moment.

Because at this point they've made their bed. This year the show was all about Blackness. Despite the fact that Will smith did what he did, can you imagine the fricking outrage had during the commercial break they escorted him out of the room, only to have half the celebrity audience live streaming it to their millions upon millions of followers?

This Board is so bipolar.
If he doesn't stand up for his wife, y'all would call him a cuck. When he does stand up for his wife, y'all call him a cuck.

will smith just created an eternal legacy of lunatic behavior on quite literally the biggest stage in the world

They should both get Oscar's for that performance.

It's already widely known and accepted that he is, in fact, a cuck.
He just solidified himself as a trashy cuck last night.

can you imagine the scope of the story if they had kicked him out?
the fact that guy was crying and had to be consoled during the commercial by Denzel and Tyler Perry tells you it was de-escalated and the damage was done to Smith by Smith. Throw him out, the guy wins Best Actor and then the MPAA becomes the story as well.

Will Smith is not man enough to throw a punch.

Oh come on. Have you ever watched them before? Again, maybe it was staged, maybe it wasn't, but I would not cite the "decorum of the Oscars" as a reason for it not being staged.

Chris Rock could have easily demanded it and it would have been a reasonable request. I didn't watch, did he go back up on stage and continue the rest of the night?
Of course he didn't demand it because it was all staged. Kayfabe baby, taking the page out of WWE's playbook.

he introduced an award for best documentary, that was butchered by the will smith fiasco, then he left

he did his part and left, you have completely missed the mark here

Will Smith was laughing right before. Someone must have reminded him of his que. Obviously faked.
Posted on 3/28/22 at 2:10 pm to kywildcatfanone
He laughed for a second until he saw his wife pissed. If it was fake why would he have been crying afterwards
I’ve yet to see anyone come up with an answer for that

Agreed...clearly he did not. I'd assume back stage it was a fricking mad house when he left the stage with producers back there trying to calm him and the situation down. My guess is he had no intention of looking like a bitch and pressing charges, and I'm sure the MPAA was happy to oblige that knowing that Smith was up for Best actor shortly and even if he did not win they would be calling out his name and showing a still image of him since he'd been kicked out. And what if he'd won and been kicked out? Holy shite.

I didn't watch either, but apparently rock was just the presenter for that one documentary award. He was not the main host, so it was one and done.

To me he looks like someone that thinks someone is about to say something into his ear

I agree. I don't think Chris thought for a single second that Will was about to go and slap him literally during Live TV on Primetime television. These are 2 professionals who has been in the industry since the early 90s.
He probably figured that Will was going to grab the mic so he could crack a couple jokes or something.
I guarantee if Will approached Chris with that aggression backstage or anywhere else not on on freaking Live TV, he wouldn't have had the same reaction.
