Yea, to be clear, frick Iran. However, I don't give a shite what happens in the eternal shite hole that is the middle East. This does nothing to help America and until a few months ago, MAGA/America First was against these types of things. It's been wild to watch Trump supporters twist themselves in knots because of so many things he's gone against from what MAGA talking points used to be. I think Trump has done some good things, but shite like this doesn't help America, no matter how some people want to frame it. Now, Iran is looking like it'll once again be destabilized while the next group of extremist fight for control over it. That's if we even take out any of their leadership. It could be just Trump being Netanyahu's puppet again.

Seriously, what does the U.S. gain by doing this? Has the U.S. ever done something like this in the Middle East that made it better there? In fact, it was U.S. intervention that directly led to Iran becoming the shite hole it is now.

Instead of doing something productive, like an overhaul of the healthcare system/Obamacare or many other things like that that this country desperately needs, he's more worried about shite holes like Venezuela and Iran. But again, it makes sense when you see he's bought and paid for by the oil industry, the MIC and Israel.

Is this what we voted for? More military involvement in the Middle East? Our leaders serve Israel, not us. And I have zero affinity for Iran or their regime.

This could be said about most US intervention in the ME or anywhere

But not about Iran. You’re dumb as frick if you don’t see the extremely vast benefit to the Islamic Regime not getting nuclear weapons and falling. They have been supporting terror attacks against us for 47 years.

Doing this is fine. Troops on the ground is another story.

Anything along those lines would need to go through Congress, and without 60 votes in the Senate that's not happening.

Until something changes there, Trump is left with doing things that fall under the executive branch - deportations, military intervention, etc.

Why? I’m not a fan of US being involved in regime changes but that doesn’t mean Trump should be removed from office.

Fox News Headline right now - Iran retaliates against US military targets in the region.

Of course. Iran was always going to respond. I’m sure the US was prepared for that.

na, he told the truth on that. He lied about no foreign wars and regime change. Bottom line.
