I could see the theory of the brother having doing something (he seems very off any ways), such as a blow to his sister.. and the parents going to great lengths to protect him.

Why was there a 3rd voice on the 911 call. Why does so much of it seem staged? Why was there so much time elapsed between the first blow until all the other crap done to stage or frame.

I just have a hard time believing such an intruding mastermind going to such great lengths to cover their tracks.. would then leave behind clothing with their blood dna behind.. could the clothes be tampered with then put back on? I mean this is already a nuts mystery.. why not make it more unbelievable.

The DNA that was found (hispanic male) consisted of BLOOD EVIDENCE in THREE SEPARATE SPOTS on TWO DIFFERENT ITEMS OF CLOTHING (underwear and leggings). Ponder that

You are going on old information that has since been contradicted. It wasn't blood. It was sweat or saliva that could have come from anywhere. Ponder that.

Just listened to the tapes.

LSU pimp, how do you explain that?

It's clear someone says "what did you do" and then another says "what did you find?"

And jesus, the grown Burke is smiling during the entire interview? WTF?

100% sure Burke did something by accident and they covered it up. All the other stuff is just nonsense.

I wouldn't hold that against him. I know people that have that semi-smile on their face when they are nervous.. kind of like a defense mechanism. It's just the face they make in a situation like that.

That looked like bs to me too. The letter makes no sense. Definitely looks staged af. Also, how John Ramsey locates her so quickly, sees a pile of clothes on the floor and says, "shes right here" or whatever without even knowing for sure yet?? Ya suspect John!

Fully accepting the premise that you are a hopeless loser if you watch DR PHIL, I'd like to remind anybody on this thread that DR Phil is about to air an interview with socially awkward Burke. For those hopeless losers among us...

I've never followed this case closely, but I remember 10 or so years ago being convinced that it was a cover up by the family to cover for the son killing her. A lot of this was due to their very weird behavior.

However, I recently had an experience that makes me rethink my opinions on this. I've been in close calls and panic inducing scenarios before and I've kept my cool pretty well, but a few months ago something happened and I thought I had lost my 3 year old (who is completely fine). It was only for a moment, and I knew he was fine seconds after, but I went into complete shock. I'm sure the people who were with me thought I was one creepy guy. I couldn't make myself be angry or upset or happy, just blank. I've never been like that before or since. All of that is to say I no longer think as harshly of the Ramsey's because of the weird way they acted. They still could have done it and covered it up, but no one knows how they'll react in that kind of situation.

Why would they pimp out their daughter if they are millionaires? I think they were involved in a cover up, but this angle doesn't really make any sense

A) Millionaires can get themselves into money trouble just like the rest of us.
B) Maybe they weren't doing it for the money? Maybe they were sick in the head like that woman recently who was letting people molest her daughter and watching it.
C) Maybe it was to bribe a judge of the next pageant and had nothing to do with money?

Just theoretical, of course. I'd bet just about anything that the parents were involved even if one of them wasn't the actual killer.

I may be wrong on the specifics, but CBS had one, the ID channel had a 2 hour special (I think) and a three part miniseries. And Dr Phil had a three -day interview with Burke. All had strong POV's, the CBS the strongest against the Ramseys.

what is this documentary
It's called "The Case of JonBenét Ramsey" and part 1 came on CBS last night. Part 2 comes on tonight.

You can watch the full episode of part 1 here:

https://www.cbs.com/shows/the-case-of-jonbenet-ramsey/video/

If you are unfamiliar with the case, you might want to read up on it a little bit or maybe go to Youtube and try to find a short documentary laying it out for you.

Also, coming on literally right now is Dr. Phil... he is interviewing the brother, Burke Ramsey, about what happened that night. He also interviews the dad, John Ramsey a little bit too. It's part 2 or 3 of his interview with Dr. Phil. So you can check that out too if you want.

It's the 20 year anniversary of when all of this happened, so there are a bunch of channels playing shows about this crazy case right now.

Hmmm, some pretty interesting points on the DNA. I wonder why the Boulder PD used that to exonerate the Ramsey's?? Unless there is some deathbed confession from John or Burke - we will probably never know for sure.
I always thought it was Patsy because she is just so damn weird - even in home videos she was so creepily, robotically, cheerful.
I wish it were an intruder though; the heinous murder of a child is tragic enough, but it being perpetrated by family makes it 1000x worse.

I would love to hear from John's first wife and older children. Have they ever spoken out? I know the older son was investigated and ruled out due to alibi...

The Boulder PD didn't.. the DA did. The Boulder police chief says the DA (who was a woman) could never bring herself to believe that a mother could do that to her child. So when the DNA evidence came up, she was more than eager to exonerate the family.

The Boulder police (and many others) did not agree with her.

Certainly, which is why I think a cover-up is possible, particularly if Burke was involved in his sister's death.

John had lost a child from a previous marriage; there's no telling how irrational his mindset could've been if he discovered his son had killed his daughter, even accidentally.

Did Patsy buy nylon cord from a hardware store in early December? I believe that was found on her credit card statement, was it not?

F. The ransom was not close, but exactly, the amount of his bonus for that year.
So I don't see that as narrowing the pool to only the parents. I see it broadening the pool to anyone affiliated with the dad professionally or personally or by chance who knew how much his bonus was including a bank teller than processed the deposit or any million other people along the way.

Has to be the mom. Any mom that would dress their child up like that for pageants needs some counseling.
And she got away with it.

With the obsession of my wife watching all these shows, I asked her the other night if she was in Boulder around that time.
