I hate them. I don't want to be in the woods with these idiots.
I was using the term "love" sarcastically. I don't want to be within two miles of someone that gets that spooky.

Sometimes i forget that 90% of the OB is scared to death of snakes and other small harmless critters.
I am more concerned about 2 legged critters. I don't shoot snakes.

why are you people so scared of hogs?
I've hunted in hog infested areas my entire life and have never felt threatened in the least
they always run from me

Basically the " rather need it and have it" mentality.
I've heard some personal stories about hogs. I know online accounts can make them seem worse than they are.

I've never had an experience with them so I guess I am more afraid of the what if part. Plus, everyone knows the downfall of Old Yeller was the hog scene.

when i hear hogs in the woods i get excited. good shot, bad shot, anything close...i will sling an arrow at a hog. sumbitches tend to roll around right after it's too dark for me to see though. nothing lovelier than the squeal when an arrow goes thru one.

you need to read up on your laws.
Is there a law that says one can carry concealed against the wishes of a landowner, business owner, home owner or governmental entity?

I keep a crossman bb pistol in my golf bag. Tapping some grey squirrels on the tee box.

A rabid wolf got him in the book
I carry one when I am brushing blinds, or messing around when its warm. Beavers, and other varmint and a cottonmouth or two sometimes need vitamain L.
The whole point of a hand gun is to fight your way to a long gun IMO, so if I have a shotgun or rifle, I really don't need the pistola. I do have an old 22 wheelgun that does the job and putting it on your hip keeps the hands free to work.

I do not normally consider my yard the outdoors.
Thus the answer is yes. When I am outside of my yard I am packing. PERIOD
