"KAMALA is coming after your guns!!!"

Spare me the political theatre. No one is coming after your guns.

We have the Supreme Court currently, but the court makeup could change a bit with a communist president.

the 2nd amendment isn’t going anywhere…

we can agree that the 2nd Amendment is going no where....but I can tell you that we have been on a slippery slope for a while now.

EX: how many lists have guns or gun owners on them?

with no push back we will all wake up one day and some random lawyer will define what a "gun" is. Or they will have limited ammunition, or clip size.

the average guy just need to start speaking up.

Trump got Kamala to say "We want to ban assault weapons" just to energize his own base? That's some impressive persuasion.

Fudds suck.

i find it pretty humorous that the "give an inch they'll take a mile" argument is so frequent when it comes to gun rights, while the firearm industry consistently and deliberately does that exact same thing...

2A was the inch in 1789. bump stocks, braces, 100 round drums, etc are the mile

Except for this part

If you are prudent you already have what you want.

Why should we have to hoard or buy in a way to protect against a future tyrant? There should be no tyrant. I understand your point but why should a living 17 yr old today, who gains certain rights and legalities next year and in 4 years be restricted to the freedoms you and I enjoy?

I do agree guns arent going anywhere. You make some good points. I just agree with the aforementioned slippery slope.

Everybody needs to settle down with this stuff.

You mean like the 6 months earlier this year where I had to remove a gun part from a pistol so I wasn't a felon? Yes it got overturned but what about those 6 months of tyranny? You just shrug it off? You and I are not alike in that regard

So we should only be allowed to possess 1789 firearm technology?

I didn’t need a reason to buy more, but now that I do…..what should I buy? Preferably handguns 9mm and/or AR .556 (why not both)

Are people hoarding to protect against a future tyrant? Or are people hoarding because they are being told by someone or something that there will be a future tyrant and that tyrant will do something that will make you want to hoard (ie purchase) things right now? I lean more towards the latter than the former.

Yes it got overturned but what about those 6 months of tyranny?

Yes. I shrug off those 6 months of absolute tyranny.

You and I are not alike in that regard

We are not alike in our definition of tyranny. We are also not alike in our definition of felon.

No. A social media post titled "Harris WILL take away your guns"....that's a scare tactic.

You mean a politician exaggerated the impact of his opponent's policies? You think that's unique to Trump?

No. Once again that's not what I am saying..

I am saying that people pick out any point from the side they don't like and exaggerate it in order to trigger a reaction. It's not unique to any issue or any side.

"Harris WILL take your guns" is the same as "Trump will send gay people to concentration camps" or any other such nonsense.

A pretty big difference is that Harris would like to do that. Trump wouldn't.

I agree that the urgency is absurdly hyped, but they'd love nothing more than to chip away. If we haven't figured out by now that the left plays the long game we haven't figured out anything, and they're happy to do the same with gun control. And I truly don't understand gun owners who really don't give a shite about any aspect of the 2nd outside of how any restrictions would impact them personally.

I don't run around with large amounts of cash but I still think civil asset forfeiture is a horrible abuse of power and violation of rights.

Like that has stopped them from suing gun manufacturers, imposing taxes in ammunition, passing illegal laws and using taxpayer money to defend the lawsuit.
