Didn't realize that you were Dick Proenneke's grandson.
Awesome looking cabin.

Dick’s isn’t too far away actually. The cabin in the photo is a public use cabin I rent for weekends I’m bear hunting or planning to moose hunt. Well this is one of two that I rent. $40-$60 a night. The guy that built the cabin in the photo built several of these in the area. Working on renovating another one he built currently. He passed away this week unfortunately.

Coming down at 5 am in the dark hungover looks like it would be a task

And what did the slab cost?

does it run and can I have it?
It still runs, We drove it up there this year from Lafayette to Dierks (6 hours only going 65 mph because of the governor limit). We paid 3k for the bus and another 1k to finish the inside. Bunks we got from a offshore container company that was getting rid of inventory.

Imagine getting caught in it during a storm with 40 mph gusts

This was a couple of years ago but that includes the slab.
Slab cost me $1,500 to have poured, the building materials were $6,000 and $500 for electrical materials. I built it myself
