Meopta seems to be unavailable after they were bought out. Is this incorrect?

I think they're starting to move into electronics manufacturing. The discount I got with them is massive and they are fantastic. I'm hoping if I need another one they will be available on the future.

My one and only purchase from Canada went through customs, sat 2 weeks, and I paid stupid custom fees. IMO, it wasn’t worth it. Doug @ CameraLandNY is my go to guy for optics

I’ve had a lot of luck with a relatively unknown brand of scope called Tasco.

My favorite right now is trijicon credo 3-9 with the mil square illuminated. Can be found under $600 and will take all the beating a kid will put on it.

Hundreds of pounds of meat is rookie numbers. My time in the woods is too valuable to hunt with tasco.

Like, this year?

Tasco of 30 years ago ain’t today’s Tasco.

Get the kid a Vortex and call it a day.

Good thinking. Never too young to learn about having to send a scope in for warranty work.

Or how to take care of your shite so you don’t destroy it and need warranty work.

Vortex has a great warranty for a reason.

I’ve had to send stuff back to them that was not abused.

Great customer service too. All that practice they’re like a well oiled machine.

Its a kid. That scope is definitely going to bounce off something.
