I have a trust. My kids are not of age.
I’ve down paper forms and it’s taken a year. I’ve done eforms and it has taken 2 days. So ime trust or not trust, it doesn’t matter. Paper vs eforms is the deciding factor of how long you have to wait.

I've got four grown kids ... 1 Son.
I've always gone the Trust route at the advice of my attorney.
Things may change, down the road, but for now I'm gonna keep doing the Trust.

For a trust? I've done eForms every time. Trust still took a while for a form 4.

Yes. And I got two more back in under 60 days. However still waiting on a trust paper submission since Feb.
How can they approve 3 suppressors in under 60 days but one is still going 9 months??!?!?!? It’s illogical.

I have some cans in a trust and most are not. Certain cans I know I won’t lend so there’s no point. Every individual e-file I’ve done this year has been less than 48 hours. My buddy just did another e-file trust and he’s at a month. If I ever want to transfer individual cans into a trust I’ll gladly pay the extra $200 for another stamp to make the transfer. If not or if I die first, even individual cans get a free one time transfer.

E-filed trust. 12 days from certification to approval. Picked my new Cat WB Wednesday.
The trusts are just as fast as individual now

What does the OB say?
The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, except if the arms have certain arbitrary characteristics, the government can throw you into federal pound-me-in-the-arse prison for 15 years for not paying a $200 tax that the government doesn’t let you pay for a year after its been requested.

I like the trust better. You can add members easily with just notarized documentation.

People always love to say this, but I’ve literally never heard of anyone even being arrested for this type of thing not to mention go to jail for it. I’d be very interested to see some examples of a normal citizen without an arrest record ever getting not only a serious charge but convicted?

Sure here are some examples

You got me! So a guy that was involved in militias and transferred to an undercover employee is your best example?
Like I said, pretty much no one normal gets in trouble for this but you do you
Eta: I’m not saying don’t worry and break the law. Just the idea that this is anything remotely to be concerned about if you are a law abiding citizen is mostly ridiculous.

There are more search results than the first one. Take some time like 10 minutes and do some digging.

Depends how you define “normal”. If normal is people who follow the law then you won’t find many in trouble.

Been waiting 90 days for a efile trust. They are all not done as fast as some here say.

The government was not super happy with my buddy, for skirting some similar laws. Y'all know him as the auto keycard guy. Did almost 4 years and is currently in a federal halfway house. He had an open house party offense in 01, when we were 21

All of mine have been in a trust but last two were individual and only took 2 days.

I made a trust, it's notarized, just need to get the fiance and I finger printed.

In south Louisiana there’s only one name to consider…Kenny at Meplat Group (Metairie). And I wholeheartedly recommend a gun trust (which he sets up).
