My dad and grandfather both had trickle chargers made of sheet metal that were like a small boat anchor. Now you can buy them for $50 from Amazon or Harbor Freight made out of plastic. Do yall have any of these or recommend one?

Specifically I have an older F150 that I use around our property about every 60 days to clear limbs and such and its always dead as a doornail.

1 battery? You're just trying to maintain it or charge? I used a solar panel for this purpose if it's just maintaining.

I've had a Schumacher from Orielly for 7 or 8 years. Works well. It trickle charges and maintains when full. I've been using the same trolling motor battery for the same amount of time so I guess it's working. I keep the battery plugged up to it 24/7.

Got this wired next to the jeep battery. Just keep it plugged into a ext cord. Works great.

I have one on my barn truck, a 94 F150 I use around the farm for hay and firewood, etc.

And I've got one I use to trickle charge the batteries on the two Predator 9500s I have in series.

Get one that you can zip tie & attach under the hood to where you just have to plug the extension cord in. More convenient.

Got this hooked up to the Big Red in the garage. Used the ring terminal option, so I just unplug the quick connect and roll.

I use a Battery Tender Jr. with ring terminal connector cables on lawn equipment and 1 vehicle that's seldom driven. The long cable eliminates use of an extension cord.

I use Solar (Clore Automotive brand) float charger (PL2140). Much more reliable than the several Schumacher and Harbor Freight models I've tried over the years. Can float charge every type of 6V and 12V automotive or marine battery.
