One of my best friends has a camo fetish. He buys every new year pattern; swampland, bottomland, swamp grass, tall grass, tan grass, brown grass, chicken tree, Johnson grass.

Bro you can't stop by the local convenience store before and after the hunt without some Realtree on.

You will get laughed at

Most of my grandpa and dads hunting pics, they are dressed in flannel red and black jackets with some type of khaki or brown pants. All those pics are full of harvested wildlife. More than I'll ever kill.

I'm planning to come out with a line of OSB pattern box stand camo.

You entrepreneurial assholes better stay away from my idea.

100% true that “camo” is overrated for deer hunting.

Yesterday I killed a decent lil 8pt wearing camo UNDER my bright orange vest and bright orange hat while sitting on the ground overlooking a bottom.

Wearing camo to and from hunting spots lets any thug at a convenience store know you have guns in your ride and it's an open invitation

I've killed limits of ducks several times wearing a red santa hat. For years I have just been olive drab and khaki.

Turkey hunting different story.

hell that's when being in plain clothing helps. Ditch the gun, pull the dog leash out of your pocket, and start calling for Sparky or whatever your dog's name is. Maybe the warden will help you look for your missing pup.

It’s the warmest stuff I own. If it’s hot I’ll wear whatever, if I’m in a blind.

To conceal the slip in and slip out.

Many times when I'm heading in or out in the day light I've seen deer. If I want to try to stalk them, I'm glad I have my camo on.

In other words, I may be planning on crawling up in a box stand, but the plan can change quickly if I see a buck 500 yards down a pipeline and I want to try to cut him off/catch him at "the pass".

Depends on what kind of blind you are talking about. If you are talking about a “shooting house” for deer, I agree that it is not entirely necessary.

However, if you are talking about duck blind, ducks can absolutely see you from overhead and you need camo to the hilt!

scent control products by 10000x is the most overrated part of hunting. Second place isn't even close.

Can't take a selfie in the box in Magellan camo. It would hurt street cred. Got to be sure it is Sitka and obvious in the picture.
