I've run 30+Senate meetings that follow general parliamentary procedure and to outright deny a defendant/witness/senator who requests a 5 minute break is 100% against code

Seriously, instead of wasting time with witnesses and all of the swearing in and all of that garbage, why don't they just give everybody 5 minutes to stand up and spew whatever their opinion is and save everybody the trouble. There aren't any questions that I can see. It's just democrats standing up and shouting talking points. Why is Barr even here?
