what is Christian about modern America? There are homeless people everywhere, along with empty houses. We throw away more food than any other country while a significant number of our citizens have nothing to eat. Don’t feign Christianity now.

See I find it hard to imagine a society that nurtures grown humans while it fetishizes and romanticizes killing unborn humans. The two are not mutually exclusive and I would argue are comorbidities of a society in sever decay.

Many here are acting like they give a shite about anyone other than themselves because they know they’ll never be responsible for another woman’s fetus. No one romanticizes abortion.

I hate abortion. I hate that mothers feel like they need to get abortions. But no one here is asking “How can we support mothers more so they won’t feel that abortion is the only answer to an unplanned pregnancy?” Instead we get more hate toward women and hate toward anyone with an alternative opinion. Hate for everyone except the fetus that none of them will ever have anything to do with.

was a long time ago. At the time I felt a lot more strongly about things. But at no point did I think legislation needed to be changed over it.

I’m sorry that happened to you. Maybe now it’s time to help prevent that from happening to others. Or is it frick their rights, rights of the women to kill Trump everything?

Is there a bigger simp on earth than a male abortion rights activists? Lol.

FIFY. But I recast you as a pro-slavery Southerner circa 1859.

I actually think you’re wrong and you are projecting your hatred for humanity onto everyone else. You advocating for the murder of unborn children makes a lot of sense in this light.

I shouldn’t have said that. Cheap shot on my part. I retract and apologize.

I’m 100% pro-life but we to regroup..many of us have been saying since the Dobbs decision that if we get greedy we will lose the long game as the popular sentiment isn’t on our side.. we got the major victory with pushing this to states and that should’ve been enough in the short term as we formulate a plan for states that could potentially value life of the unborn

Apology accepted

But if you read what I said there was nothing I could do about it. So I did the only thing I could do when I found out. I left the relationship immediatley.

Stop melting. Women perceive abortion restrictions as the result of crusty old white men telling them what they can and cannot do with their bodies. There is no changing this. You're either going to have to accept it or drive yourself insane.

Accept what? Unmarried women don't vote Republican anyway.

I think perhaps advocating more strongly on behalf of other men in that position would be a reasonable stance you could take. There seems to be plenty Of support for women wanting abortions so maybe use your unique experience to help others avoid what you went through.

Personally I was a prime candidate to be aborted and my mom always said that I actually forced her to grow up and be responsible and take life seriously. My take away was always that a baby, while not easy, could actually be the spark that ignites a fire inside a person. The assumption is always that a baby is a virtually death sentence and thus it becomes imperative to get an abortion.

Abortion was legal until the late 1800s. Looks like you have no idea what it was founded on.

And how exactly do you propose I do that?

There is also support encouraging women that are considering abortions to not have abortions. I have been involved with some of these organizations FWIW.

I've seen this happen to some women and they say that having a baby may have saved their lives

By not treating it so cavalierly. Maybe you don’t in real life but that was my impression I’m wrong a lot though so.

Anyone ok with abortion can get the hell out of the country

Around 85% of country think abortion should be legal under certain circumstances. Its yet to be determined how we will sort it all out state by state but its pretty safe to say the majority want abortion legal in some form. If you bele8ve abortion should be banned federally with no exceptions You are in the extreme minority.
