I have no confidence in any effort by democrats to help families. In fact the policies of the democrats (and their Hollywood pals) over the last 50+ years were designed to do one thing - kick God out of the culture and Main Street and destroy the traditional family. Last time I checked less than 13% of families could be categorized as traditional (male father works, female mother cares for the children). Now what we have is a hookup culture where people simply sleep around. The whole abortion debate swirls around promiscuous couples who insist on engaging in risky behavior then if they accidentally get pregnant they want access to an abortion and they want the taxpayer to pay for it. Remember America has aborted 65+ million babies and future potential workers. What a bloody mess…..and I do mean bloody.

I see nothing there that helps middle class America. McDonalds and Taco Bell are doing more than the Feds to help with their $5-7 Meals. Let that sink in 4-5 fast food companies care more about you than your government.

Bingo. Had a typical leftist on FB (yes I know) bleating about how WM was making billions and “windfall profits tax” etc. I found their April ‘24 net profit margin- 3.16%. And that was up from 1.2% the previous April.
Running my own business, there is no way I’m going to work to make 3 cents on the dollar. Hell, if I don’t make 30 cents on the dollar I’m strongly considering passing on the project.

You might feel ashamed to be on disability but at least you have a legit medical event as the root cause. I know several people (the mother of my nephew among them) either on or trying to get on 100% disability for things like chronic fatigue syndrome or mental issues. That chaos my arse; most of them are just lazy and want something for nothing. They doctor shop for just such a purpose.
