I’m to the point now where i wish the Xiden Administration will hurry up and push through all their stupid crap so the country can crash. Maybe this will open up the eyes of some on the left. (That’s a big maybe).

I’m more worried about this happening while I’m still physically and mentally capable of leading my family and mostly my kids through the hard times and maybe if I’m lucky, still have some years left when we bring the country back from the Devastation.

Yep Type II diabetics that need insulin have pretty much fricked themselves over and have basically signed their own death warrant.

This rule was really gonna help the families of Type I children.....this is something that I literally can't believe Biden did...oh wait yes I can big pharma is one of his many owners.

I'm with you. I'm just saying that this was a new program that hadn't started yet and the savings that would go to patients don't appear to be clear or concrete. I'll be honest when I simply don't know enough about a topic or law to have a strong opinion on the matter, and after reading a little on this, it looks like it was a controversial regulation that may or may not actually help patients.

Actually it was very clear....the provider was to pass on the savings that they get from the manufacturer on to the consumer.

The providers were basically to sell the insulin to the consumer at cost. In theory over time this should help insurance prices and consumer's pocket books directly.

Both the article in the OP and the one I posted mentioned that providers already have to pass on their savings under federal law though. That's why I'm just confused as to what this new regulation would have changed.

If that is actually the case I wonder if that is actually happening and if it is being audited.

The rule specifically stated that if they didn't they would lose federal funding (grants). It's the audits that came with the rule that health centers didn't want.

It's pretty clear that somebody is/was making a killing on insulin because it is killing the consumer at this point.

Why should he care about them? Its not like democrats have to earn black people's vote.

Biden is going to reverse literally every single thing that Trump ever did. So don't let this surprise you. I will not be surprised when he tears the wall down.

Ah I gotcha. I'm 100% for the audits and penalties if they aren't actually passing on the savings.

Unless I'm mistaken, this change is for a rule that hadn't taken place yet. This should have no impact on a change that happened months/years ago that made insulin prices drop.

This is what I'm trying to figure out, but everyone appears to be in hysteria right now.

Did Trump execute any other orders regarding insulin? This specific one shows it was signed in December and wasn't supposed to take effect until January 22nd (today). I'm being optimistic but hopefully, although not likely, they are just reviewing the details and will move forward with it March 22nd.
