Bingo. A 2 year relative newbie to the league who has many, many fewer miles on his body than a lot of the veteran players.

And nobody can convince me that the NFL and professional leagues do not discuss these random cardiac events. I bet they have a close eye and there is protocol. Top of the line professional athletes shouldn’t be having issues without other circumstance.

Weren’t NFL players basically forced to get the vaccine?

Indeed they were and they gave Aaron Rogers shite about it too.

So of all the variables, this one is the elephant in the room

That's the only place we are going to get any info.

None of us are in that hospital, none of us are attending nurses or doctors.

Unfortunately we are going to have to form opinions from media information, both traditional and social.

And yet we've never seen it happen in the history of the NFL? I find that hard to believe.

It's extremely rare. When you increase the sample size to include college and high school it increases.

Deaths in the NFL are extremely rare but they do happen.

Stop trying to politicize this.
It was 100% the hit to his chest.

No way. It could not have been the hit. The hit was at the exact time of the event. That was just a big coincidence. Of the probably 60 million seconds that he has lived since having the shot, the cardiac event happened the same second that he took a blow to his chest that snapped his neck.

It has to be the shot. Must be the shot.

Then why did it happen in direct time with the hit. Just happenstance?

No, we're not required to do any of this.

Let's just wait to see what their suggested remedy for this situation is. Then we'll know what their agenda really is.

Having constantly been lied to by media all of our lives, I have no reason not to believe they've had this response locked and loaded in case one of the mysterious soccer deaths made its way to football.

So none? That’s what I thought. Feel free to follow up on those and point out the 84 people I was wrong about.

The fact you can’t come up with a single confirmation is all the follow-up I need

And what would be your excuse for soccer players dropping dead? Too much running?

Correct. It happens occasionally.

Try never in the NFL. Keep comparing objects slamming into a chest to professional pads though.

The funny thing, is you can't even recognize the stupidity in your own post, but strut around like you won something.

I have never persoanally seen it, but it is a concern in high school and college athletics. It happens to youth athletes that sustain blows to the chest as well. And of course, it is not every blow, it is an exceptional event. But one that warranted athletic trainers to recommend external defibrillators be available for sports teams.

My 2 cents:

The direct trauma to his chest absolutely is primary to the event

Questions that could clarify:

Did he have some baseline predisposition / condition (these guys are extensively screened medically prior to being drafted)

Did other variables factor into him having the event from the blunt trauma (priming effect). Tracking the rate of this historically uncommon event may prove useful moving forward...

Very sad situation

Yet you dont identify it. 60 million seconds . But his heart attack came when he was hit in the chest, immediately after. Just a fluke.
