Yes, the Brown University Administration is rancidly Leftist. They might have compromised their security cameras to protect illegal aliens and Palestinian activists. The answers from all of the Rhode Island authorities have been shady.
But, other than the rumor that Ella (RIP) was shot 10 times in the head, where are y'all getting the information that she was targeted BECAUSE she was Christian and /or conservative? The animal who killed Ella and the others was an embittered sociopath. IF he shot her multiple times, maybe he shot her because she was a pretty young woman...just like the kind who had always rejected this loser?
BASED ON WHAT WE HAVE BEEN TOLD, I think it's highly unlikely that the killer knew Ella or any of the other students in the Econ0110 review class. They just happened to be in the same building where the perp had washed out of an academic program over 20 years before.
Could the Rhode Island group be lying to us? I believe they ARE about what the perp said before he started shooting AND maybe about the reasons that the Brown security cameras didn't pick up more.
As to the identity of the killer, I trust the Trump-appointed US Attorney in Boston with those facts.

I’d start with his phone, and the phone of the MIT Professor, and any communication between the killer and the Brown Registrars Office.
Good idea, Stubble (great name BTW).
I wonder if there is any relationship between the killer and anyone else currently at Brown. Someone (you?) posted that the publicly available schedule showed a Physics final scheduled for Room 166 during that time slot.

I'm sure they will too, but remember their job is not to discover why; it's to discover exactly what happened and if there are accomplices.

Did you watch any of the press conferences? They actually think they did a good job.
Granted, they were pretty incompetent at the PR.

THAT is the problem. Their lack of candor was fuel for speculation.
Actually identifying the suspect less than a week after the incident was good detective work given the lack of known ties to Brown or to any of the Brown victims.

If they don’t work to discover why, they’ve lessened the ability to prevent the next one.

A rational take, but it's not as much fun as some posters would prefer...

In fairness, it's also hard to accept that such a beautiful and accomplished young girl who shared values with many of us was brutally murdered randomly.
OTOH, whatever theory someone espouses has to explain also why the "other" student (who also had a bright future) was killed.

Have they answered the question of turning off CCTV's to protect illegals yet?
I am certain that the families of the victims would like to know

Nope...and they have been asked directly. The AG said that there's footage from inside the building showing students fleeing "but you don't have to see it because it wouldn't help the investigation."
What kind of answer was that? With an unknown shooter who might have had accomplices, why on earth would you not release that IMMEDIATELY for the public's help?

Interview with Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney:
-killer entered the storage facility at 9:30 p.m. on Monday after killing MIT professor, never left
-perp flew into Boston from Miami
-two Glocks recovered
-no record of communications between the MIT professor and killer
-no motive yet
-no evidence of Islamic terrorism
-no evidence of anti-Semitism
STILL no questions/comments about wound details of ANY of victims. No questions/comments on what killer said at Brown. Best part: her answers are direct and non-evasive...unlike Providence.

Who did the Glocks belong to? Doubtful he declared and flew with them, were they in the storage locker?
Who owned the storage locker? He lived in Miami, doubt it was his.

This is all she said.
As much as I appreciated how straightforward Foley was, the lack of details is strange. For instance, the MIT professor was killed Monday at his home that he shared with his wife and children. It's been reported that his 6 year old daughter answered the door, and that the professor was killed in the doorway. STILL, Foley said she didn't know the details of his death.

Surely someone needs to do that, but those people are politicians, not law enforcement people.

IMPORTANT: Here is the Affidavit filed in support of the Application for Federal Criminal Complaint in Massachusetts. It's the best source for facts developed by FEDS.
Federal Affidavit filed in Massachusetts
This was interesting.
"FBI has analyzed ballistics evidence from the shootings at Brown University and the shooting
of Victim 1 and determined that although they were both 9mm casing, they do not appear to have
been shot from the same firearm."
As to the Brown murders, two paragraphs are redacted (it is the ONLY portion redacted)...make of that what you will:

extrapolating on that because of the reports that she was shot 10 times in the head
what reports? Rumors being propagated by sketchy sources?
And if she was shot ten times in the head could anyone actually count that amidst the damage done by that much shooting? I could see a statement that she was shot “multiple times in the head”, or “many times in the head”, but ten? Exactly ten?

STILL not much information about the alleged killer.
Here's an interview with someone who was a Brown student with Valente.
Highlights:
-he was apparently Valente's only friend
-bitter, anti-social person
-Valente HATED the Brown Physics Department
-"brilliant, but frustrated student"
-didn't like the food
-thought the quality of education at Brown was inferior
-moved back to Portugal after a year in Brown program

Dude is dead. There will be no trial.
What the frick is the point of redaction in an affidavit, beyond maybe "trauma" of victims families reading what happened to their loved ones?
Our country has become so soft
