I directed the provost to remove the dean and department head from their administrative positions, effective immediately.
Unless their names comes off the doors to their offices and the UT website, this means nothing. Lip service, only.

They will not.
They have tenure.
They have tenure.

Talk about overreacting!!! Why wouldn't you want a class where people could learn about TRAINS??? I love trains, and the US Economy is highly dependent on rail transport.
What?
Oh...nevermind.

Maybe. Then again…
that key leaders in the College of Arts and Sciences approved plans to continue teaching course content that was not consistent with the course’s published description.
“To continue teaching” could also imply that at some point, there were guidelines established on things not to focus on….and they chose to do so anyway.

So did the government with Capone and tax evasion. You roll with what sticks.

Doesn’t look like they’re fired. They just lost their extra two months of salary for administrative duties, probs.
The dean and the department head are almost certainly tenured, so they can easily be removed from their administrative duties, but firing a tenured professor is more difficult. Not saying they shouldn't be fired, just that it would be more difficult than removing them from administrative duties now and pursuing the process of removing tenure and firing them.

Professor only survives because the President went on record that he wasn't going to fire her. That's an error. The prof needs to go too.

There should be a lot of Aggie Alum refusing to support this and calling for new leadership. This guy sounds like a total POS who is going to protect and support this activity. If he has these types running departments, his leadership is not in line with most Aggies I know, despite the male cheerleaders and stereotypes at A&M.

To understand TAMU today with about 80,000 students has many traditions dating to before 1965 where 10,000 all male students had to be in the Corps of Cadets. Healthy sexual experimentation included yell leaders, roommates, livestock and large vegetables. The exception if you had a vehicle was a drive to LaGrange.

What about the teacher that claimed it was a biological fact that are many genders?

What about the instructor?

I wish this had happened when I took a Fiction 100 class at LSU.
The male teacher discussed gay awareness for every class and guided interested students to campus organizations to assist with gender confusion.
My first 3 papers, I got an A+. When I objected midway through the semester about the topic being inappropriate, my next 3 grades were a D.
I had to take a remedial English lab because I was no longer considered proficient in English.

No one has been fired.
No one will be fired.
It may end up resulting in the President’s removal depending upon alumni reaction.
No professors will be let go.

That’s roughly my experience in freshman comp at Mizzou. First paper, A+ with huge exclamations. Next paper - Defund the National Endowment for the Arts - C-. So I wrote my next paper on why we should defund the National Endowment for the Arts again. Bull dyke professor.

It would be better if they were fired and banned from campus.

Auburn1968 is spot on.
All, esp the Prof should be canned. And the Pres should be publicly reprimanded, in lieu of also being fired, just due to his being a total prick to the student, as well as trying to slink out of this with his limp statement.
