We'll see. I wouldn't despair too much though. You've got a solid majority statewide right now and this won't move the needle much but a close eye needs to be kept on local elections because that's where these small changes can have a large impact. I've been on record saying that Texas is probably a swing state in another 8 years. But if the Hispanic population swings and stays red I'll look like an idiot with that take. Here's to hoping that I look like an idiot.

Dallas is moving blue, leaning blue too. I'd say go there because it's also the most tech-friendly city, but yeah.

Amarillo is nice this time of year.

Haven't seen one.
The title of this thread is a tad misleading.
But I wouldn't be surprised to see Techno King relocate his latest toy to a different playground.

Living in Texas, I personally hope he doesn't. That expands the influence of Austin on state wide races.
I might would be ok if he fired 80% before coming.
I don't want anymore liberal Californians coming to my state.
Plus the Californians working Twitter would actually like Austin. It's like a mini California.
I would be very against him bring Twitter to my Fort Worth

I wouldn’t be so sure. Libs would for sure go to Austin. It’s “weird.” And on its way to having a nice homeless population, look forward to “we’re glad you’re here!” signs outside of 5 star hotels.

I think El Paso would be a perfect landing place.

Oh, so it will be all those red voting tech folks that work at twitter or in tech generally...like all the other ones in Austin and SF. Ok...sure.

I've had several Californians move around me. They all seemingly moved here to vote red. I'm sure the ones I've met, may not be the majority, but the ones I've met aren't voting liberal.

Unless the wind is out of the southeast (I think). Feed lots 100 miles away stink up the whole city. But, I suspect you are being sarcastic, but it's bad when the wind is just right.

The greatest thing about the pandemic is the people that abandoned ther blue states for Florida, Georgia, texas, Ect… we’re all conservatives escaping. No democrat who was scared of covid would have ever moved to our states mid pandemic

Just park it in the most red city available not Houston, Dallas, or Austin.
