One of the main reasons I stay off twitter is it is a sewer. Someone doesn't like you, they just start making up crap and spreading it about you under alt accounts. Good luck getting Twitter to take it down.

Any algorithm is censorship to some extent. Steering toward positive interactions could be a good thing. Take SDVTiger as an example. His posts are about 80% ad hominem attacks. If there was an algorithm that leaned against that it would encourage more thoughtful posts.
I favor this as long as it is not used to suppress unfavored opinions. That is very different.

Brother, I am Calm. All I did was start a thread about Elon changing the Algorithm to X. I was accused of posting fake news on the first page. It turned out it was true and people got upset. I disagree with Elon on this issue so I am not going to act like it's not happening.

That's exactly what it's doing. Elon is even encouraging users to only allow verified users reply to their accounts at the same time he is taking away verified users blue check marks even if they pay for it like Lara Loomer. That is the way he is silencing unfavored opinions
