Its like people won't acknowledge this is going on. We just fired a Respiratory Therapist moonlighting as a Real Estate Agent. Dude was having other RTs cover his patients while leaving the hospital to show a house. Nothing was being done about it until I escalated it to the CEO. Now his arse is gone. I can't stand fraudsters
It's certainly going on, but let's not pretend the other side fails to ackowledge and pretend if you work in the office, you got your head down and are working har for 8+ hours a day, zero down time.

That's laughable, but it's insinuated with every single argument about WFH and time spent not working.

Seriously, imagine an argument that is, "well I don't like it, so no one should be able to do it." That is the only argument, that's it. There's no logic to the argument, none.

People are so out of touch with reality.

You think 1 company sending people back to work is proof that WFH will be made illegal for every working American?

See my post directly about about being out of touch with reality if that's what you're trying to tell me.

No, they track if they go dormant. They aren’t militant about it, but hers is a results oriented thing and if she hits all her cases no one will say anything

That's bullshite absolute total bullshite

it all it takes is a little bit of self-discipline

When I did all that campaign consulting we never had an office that would be an absolute waste of money I worked from home and had lunch meetings

And yes I went to the gym lifetime and did grocery shopping Whole Foods/HEB when I wasn't having lunch meetings just to break the day

Maybe by the end of Trump's term, you'll have 10% on board. Never hurts to aim high.

No one has a problem with the private companies making these choices on their own

We don't want the government compelling them to do so

can you express an opinion that doesn't originate from someone else's Twitter

Women get their opinions from someone else

men use logic to form their own conclusions

Back earlier in my career, I managed a team doing shift work from home.

Their productivity was 80 accounts per day.

I told them a million times and they were well aware, if you can do 80 accounts in 1-2 hours, you can kick your feet up and do nothing the rest of the day. All you need to do is be available for calls and instant messages, but my only concern is you meeting your productivity and being available. How fast you get there I don't care about.

And what you find when you empower people like that, they typically go out of their way for you and do whatever you need and go above and beyond. And the folks that may try to take advantage of that, it'll never work out for them, they will always have flaws that slip through that make it easy to coach them right on out of the company.

Then imagine that argument is coming from a "man nurse" hiding in a broom closet, scrolling social media, and posting on a message board all day.

Why in the world would you think it's logical to say this as a blanket statement for everyone?

This may be true for you. This being true for you does not mean it's true for everyone.

AGAIN, out of touch with reality.

Its more than 1 company. Trump's right hand man Elon hates WFH. Trump himself realizes WFH hurts his business. Less foot traffic and conventions hurts the hotel and tourist industry. Trump is 100% on board with Elon

That same dude and others who want WFH banned are probably the same ones totally up in arms about the government mandating only EVs can be sold in the future.

There isn't one logical argument that can be made for the government to make WFH illegal. Not one.
