I don't typically agree with a Tenner fan, but you my friend hit the nail on the head. For this very same reason, I believe our country to be headed in the same direction. I am a Republican with conservative views, however I see many who will not go vote, or will vote for a third party candidate because of "principles". This is absolutely everyone's right, but do not for one moment think that it does not strengthen the Democratic stranglehold which is currently being placed upon us. There is an agenda and for those who do not want to be placed under that agenda, the only solution is to get out and vote.

Not versed in UK politics but I've been watching a few podcasts and they're saying the British population has consistent voted in politicians who have promised to reduce or halt immigration ever since Brexit and the yearly numbers keep slowly climbing instead.
It seems the majorities are not voting for this.

When someone legitimately believes that their “best” party option is as bad as or at best enabling the opposition, what’s their recourse?
At some point you have to start propping up a third option. You might be the foundation of a grassroots effort that materializes after your death. But voting Republican or Tory because it’s simply not Democrat or Labour doesn’t actually help anything.
