Some of these girls were as young as 14. And there is stuff in the files suggesting some of the Johns were into young kids, but it doesn't appear that any of Epstein's regular girls were pre-pubescent.
Still yet, bad home or not, recruiting 14-18 year old girls to frick old men is still a fricking heinous crime and those girls were abused. Impressionable youth. Yeah, they may have even enjoyed it. But it's still abuse. Don't make excuses for these people.

I’m not offering any excuses. But many people have never bothered to look at the files. Many are under the impression that the “girls” were 4 year old kids. That isn’t the case.
I’ve always said the girls were victims first. Some of them became co-conspirators after the fact. (If I remember my Latin, we call that “ex post facto”).

Wouldn't the NDA be enforceable by any parties involved in the crime/settlement. Epstein, whoever trafficked them, the person that sexually assaulted them...

I have no clue. I’ve never had sex with an underage girl after becoming of age myself. Probably a better question for VOR, Hank, or Jake.

And honestly, I don't know how the law should handle this sort of shite. It seems that you could have a Stockholm syndrome type of thing going there with the ones who ended up becoming co-conspirators. In my eyes, they're victims and I'm not so sure the law should pursue charges against them.
In any event, there are a multitude of reasons why they might not be speaking out, but if I try to put myself in their shoes, I would think that what happened to Guiffre would probably serve as a pretty frickin stern warning to keep quiet.

Where the hell were these parents in all this? They allowed their daughters to travel on planes to the island and some international trips with Epstein/Maxwell for weeks at a time. Who the hell lets their high school age child travel unsupervised in the midst of some of the world's most wealthy and powerful men without asking what the hell was going on?
There's no doubt in my mind there were some parents getting compensation in the form of cash, cars, property, jobs.

Because they aren't naming names of powerful people by simply saying they're survivors?
Amazing to me you don't think that logic holds when the one woman who did come forward naming names ended up being ran over by a bus and then "committed suicide" after explicitly saying she was not suicidal.
