Great news! My wife (no pics) bitches about this constantly and how there is virtually no treatment for them. She said the OBGYN's don't want to or can't do anything more for Menopause.
Anything is better than what they have now.

my wife is pretty low key and doesn't show emotions. She finally comes out and tells me how rough this has been on her for the last 6 months......
"last week, I wanted to walk right up to you and demand a divorce!".....My jaw was open big enough to catch flies and was thinking "what the phuck"?
She says...."everything is fine, it's why i'm communicating now...last week was not a good time for me to communicate".
to quote a famous guy "I'm getting too old for this $hit".

Sounds like you need to move to the hunting camp for a mental health break.

Tell her to get the hell out of the OBGYN office and find an anti-aging or naturopathic physician who prescribes bioidentical hormones...she needs to do non-pill forms of hormones, like creams or suppositories, as the pill form that is metabolized by the liver can be dangerous for some women.
She will change her life and your life for the better if she takes a minute to do this.

The Bed Jet probably saved all our lives
Should be free to all women entering menopause.

doubt a man would survive night sweats wanting to get up and get in front of an AC and 7 fans. one attached to the bed board
Wait, I already want this. Where can I get these fans?

If we have the technology to measure hormone levels, why isn’t there more research on identifying a woman’s optimal hormone level?
If they fluctuate, let’s get them an implant like a pacemaker. Let the broads regulate it throughout the day like this morphine pumps used in hospitals. Now that I think about it, that’s probably a bad idea.

My wife has enough hormones, no thank you.
Wait until she goes through "the change". You'll be singing a different tune then brother.

The experimental statistician in me loves this idea
However, the ethics of this might be rough.
Haven't paid attention to to the medical ethics stuff in awhile though

The Bed Jet
A jet inside a bed, or a bed inside of a jet?

a damned shame how uneducated (or dare I say how much they purposely chose) the women's OB and Primary Care doctors are about women's hormones!
Mary Claire Haver, MD out of Galveston (from Lafayette) is a national fricking hero. And the above is an accurate statement.

An AC unit for the bed sheets and it’s amazing.

Most American women are on long term hormones from birth control well before they hit menopause

We have one. It's put away now, but when we did have it set up, that thing would freeze me out.

Unsurprisingly, this is alarmingly false. Most women do not swallow cancer pills to make sex more convenient for men.
It’s shocking some of you can even locate a vagina considering how little you know about women.

That’s why you need dual zone. My husbands side is significantly warmer than mine.

One of my posts in this thread I deleted because there are a few, but most definitely one poster that lurks every post...That would then use some lame hash tag like #BOOMERMENOPAUSE in every heated political discussion response.
TMI on this forum is not wise. But frick em this is a subject plaguing women for years.
Tell me about this bed jet. I was referring to the reg ole cheapy fans that you can claw clasp on a bed headboard.

Natural gas heat makes me feel smothered. I still use fans in the winter.
