Hawaiians have a legit complaint on how America took over their country and lied to them
Related though, Michener's Hawaii is a great read.

I certainly believe Musk when it involves his company
The fact all you have said over and over is he voted for Obama as a justification shows how tenuous your argument is.

I texted a liberal who lived near us who moved to north GA and asked how'd they come out. She said they were fine. I told her I'm seeing reports that Biden/Harris aren't doing their job right now, FEMA hindering citizens to help, and reports of confiscation of supplies. Her social media feeds would obviously not see stuff I'd see. She has TDS real bad. She doesn't believe anything is going on and thinks the govt is doing a wonderful job. That's probably how most liberals view this hurricane response and the giving of money to everyone else except for USA.

Both Elon and Me vote for Obama, at least the first time. I did so because I 'believed' that he could heal old grudges and inspire instead of inflame what is a festering wound in our Inner City Black demographic. I thought he was above the common Commie, and would step up, though I knew about Rev. Wright. I took a chance at the last instant before pushing the button, as his exceptional deceptive persona and my positive faith nature in people, encouraged. I blew it. But knowing that Elon did as well, helps a bit.
Hell, for that matter, a LOT of the supposed Republican 'Conservatives' were on the take as well. Now we all know. I did write a public letter of apology to my local newspaper, as act of repentance.
Live and learn.

I appreciate where you are now, but damn, it was obvious he was a total, vacuous, complete pile of lying bloody dog feces. He was a fricking terrorist sympathizer. An America hating fraudulent POS. WtF??
I blew it

So I cast stones at none but myself every time I criticize the crimes of the Bush Regime.
As you say, live and learn.

This is a Youtube video from those on the ground. It's hard, but definitive. Probably should have its own Thread.
FEMA/Joe/Kamala have spent the money on non-citizens and have totally abandoned this disaster. Muh Republican 'investigation' coming, I reckon.

Well played. The plausible deniability angle is one of my favorites as well.

No. It tells us that Musk is a gullible frick.
Really?
Admittedly, the problem here is no one knows the exact truth.
The Prog media hasn't yet consolidated on the skew it would like to use. Further, search engines are filtering, suppressing results. Private clips are being shadow banned or taken down. So coverage in general is lacking. Certainly for example, there is no comparison in coverage vs Katrina.
Given the limited info in this instance, we end up with a simple choice of who better to trust -- Mayorkas or Musk?
It's basically one or the other.
Mayorkas is, IMO, a pathological liar and bureaucratic incompetent. Musk is not.
Does that mean w/ 100% certainty that Musk is correct, and Mayorkas is once again lying? Nope. But given Mayorkas track-record, and that of FEMA under his leadership, I'd put my money on Musk w/o hesitation.
E.g., The now badly needed StarLink communication system is the same system for which deployment in the Appalachians has been opposed by the FCC during the entirety of the Biden Admin (i.e., as late as last month in court). Now suddenly, things changed. Under these circumstances, would it do to have the "enemy" now roll out StarLink as an immediately successful system, one that the Biden Admin opposed for so long? Because you know, the devastating political corollary is, if StarLink was already in place, if it had not been opposed by this administration, lives would have been saved.
There is also this:
quote:
As The Washington Post noted on Tuesday, the inconveniences wrought by Helene include one that’s unimportant on a human scale but vitally important on a political one: a disruption of the effort to prepare for and conduct the 2024 presidential election. Particularly in North Carolina, where poll averages show a close race, the upending of daily life means potentially upending the results of next month’s election.
And if it does, it may be to former president Donald Trump’s particular detriment.
...
Trump won North Carolina by a bit over one percentage point in 2020. If no one in the counties currently undergoing a Helene-related disaster had voted, Biden would have won by more than three points. If those counties are unable to vote at the same level as they did four years ago by the time Election Day arrives, that could spell trouble for the former president.
LINK
So given those caveats, we now have not only history, but motivation to do harm while undermining StarLink and other area aid by Mayorkas, et al. That may not "seal the case," but it sure as hell should have an effect on the jury, and on willingness to give Team Biden the benefit of doubt.

Musk is not simply repeating social media rumors.
SpaceX’s own engineers in the field are the source of Musk’s complaints.
Yet Joe Biden says communities in storm ravaged areas “have gotten everything they need” and they’re “very happy…”
Case closed.

You're gonna have a stroke when you figure out that random assed people aren't allowed to fly drones over any disaster area: wildfires, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc. You can, as a private citizen, get clearance to fly a drone over those areas for a certain reason. Reed Timmer made a post a couple days ago about drones being shut down that got people riled up. A couple days later he posted a brand new drone video over some of the worst damage. Pretty hard to do if they're shutting down all drones.
